Standard SRPG with elaborate animated attacks from SD Giant Robots. Lots of Melodrama in the story. Honestly if you don't already know what it is it probably wont do much for you. It's /m/ fanservice.

They did fine for a niche Atlus GBA release. But those were OG games with original characters only, so the had no licensing issues. It's virtually impossible to do a localized release of the main games given all the IPs involved.

if you only ant the over the top shit, watch the animations on youtube. But honestly, as a SRPG, SRWs aren't hard, and there's no need to grind, heck in most SRWs you can just finish the game with whatever units you like, very few times (mostly in olderç games) you needed to focus on leveling specific units... so yeah, if you want an easy game that is mostly about flashy attacks and the ocassional joke between series with plots being smashed together, do buy the game. No need to know the series either since most of the time the game explains the series plot (or whats used of them).
