I wouldn't know. My experience with these songs is limited because I never played the original psp games due to fps drops

Yeah I just emulate them and it runs fine. I never really bother with perfects because no matter how well you do you'll get that one fucking safe note to fuck you over.

My luck with emulation is bad. The closest I've ever gotten was using my phone, but that had input lag instead.

I run it pretty well on a laptop that's not extremely powerful, but having to use a 360 controller with it is awful. Maybe I'll try getting perfects after I finish getting all excellent first.

I don't know if they'll change the PS4, but the buttons just feel like big plastic domes over a spring. Plus the clacking sound they make won't be in sync with the rhythm so that plus the button travel distance is just more shit to fuck you up.
