the original version was Fine, this patch has literally addressed every issue I had with the game

Everything was pitch perfect
except their engine update broke the Ballistics Model, fucked up formations and a couple other things.
This was a long standing issue with the community, and they mentioned their intention to sort it out.
Gonna have to wait for folks to give it a go after the majority download the damn 5GB update.

I stopped once I reached the sea of lost souls, capitals are useless, obviously, and I simply can´t destroy that many ships without losing tens of thousands in resources trying to go for the ghost ship/whittle them down with bombers/fighters against hitscan weapons.

The patch notes only state that salvage ships will now stop pursuing enemies that are obscured by the fog of war. They claim more general adjustments to A.I., but not anything special.

HWR was done with the help of BBI but the bulk of the work was done by Gearbox.
The one leading the charge on this patch was tellingly, BitVenom, A Gearbox programmer.
