The thing with Skyrim is that you have several towns, dungeons, caves, fortresses, and camps. Not to mention MODS which can change the entire setting. Wheras Witcher 3 is mostly just foiliage, empty plains, forests, two main cities and some villages with little mod support

Witcher 3 has all the same boring, empty cookie-cutter towns, dungeons, caves, fortresses and camps that Skyrim does. And certainly more worth-while ones than what you find in Skyrim. A lot of the mid-sized villages and towns in TW3 feel livelier and more complete than any major city in Skyrim.
I'd argue Novigrad alone has a higher population count than all of Skyrim.
Did you even fucking get to Skellige? It's a whole archipelago existing off the main map filled with even MORE dungeons, caves, fortresses, camps and towns, and the environment is very distinct from the main map. The people have a totally different culture. It's like getting a whole new area from an expansion, but it's not an expansion.

Like, if you like Skyrim more than TW3, that's all well and good, but is your only argument aside from mod support REALLY that Skyrim has more and/or better towns, dungeons, caves, fortresses and camps? Because if so, you're fucking stupid.
