Also, why is it if I place a trap directly under a hooked survivor, nobody EVER tries to disarm it? They'll still go for the unhook even if it's in plain sight, but I've yet to have a single person actually try to disarm it, and I have played for a not small amount of time too.

I'm not exactly sure how you're placing them, but I always place traps below hooked survivors if I can because it always gets results. I don't think I've ever had survivors just pull their friends down and not get trapped in it.

I really hope the devs have more planned for future maps than just "activate the generators lmao". Having multiple objectives would go a long way to making this less repetitive.

This is the biggest problem it has, the others just add to it. Even having a story mode would help it out. No matter how incomplete a game is, it can always establish a foothold in fandom with good lore and characters.
It shouldn't be getting released when it literally only has one map and one game mode with no objectives past hurrrrr generators.

But ignoring the trap usually results in both of you getting fucked up by the killer.
Getting caught messing with the trap isn't as bad as getting caught pulling someone off the hook while ignoring it. In the former you're fucked, but in the latter you're still fucked, and the person you pulled off is fucked harder because they're probably getting put back on the hook in short order, and their bleedout bar will be shredded for it.
