Yes

Flying tanks in gta

When I was little I used to use the level select in Earthworm Jim to skip fucking Down The Tubes

To this day I've never beaten it

I was a screenhopping little bastard back in the day of splitscreen but so was everyone so I don't count myself as a cheater

I used cheat codes in River City Ransom all the time. Acro Circus plus Dragon Kick equals a fun time

I was terrible at Starcraft so I cheated constantly. The AI deserved it for ganging up on me though.

Yeah, of course. I used the shit out of console commands in a few runs of Oblivion. Being able to teleport wherever was a godsend.

Do you mean summoning someone to help as cheating? Then yes I did in Dark Souls 2 because Ivory King's tiger and Fume Knight was bullshit.

Other than that Final Fantasy V because I wanted to have all the abilities

Dayz/Arma 2 I used an external radar and I would stalk people all over the map, every now and then I'd fire some shots or run right past them when they were bandaging to get them scared

I cheated at cookie clicker, user. Forgive me.

I spent the PS2 years using Action Replay Max for every game.

I recently beat God of War on god mode. You know that room just before Pandoras Box with the thousand archers and harpies along with firetraps and moving floors? I just couldn't do it. I had to cheese my way through by hugging the wall so I wouldn't make the enemies appear.

I usually don't cheat but I just couldn't beat that part.

I guess I never looked up a guide or googled that level. I just thought I sucked too much to beat it. Glad I saw your post

Soul-glitched the shit out of DaS. Then I got bored.

On singleplayer I sometimes turn on cheats when I feel like fucking around and just taking it easy if I'm not looking for a challenge.

On multiplayer, never.

i do when i feel it improves the experience

for example, i find money in just cause 2 to be pointless and a tedious grind to obtain so i gave myself ludicrous amounts of it with the bolo patch

turns out having unrestricted access to the black market didn't make the game substantially easier, but it became a lot more enjoyable

I remember back in the waning days of Demon's Souls, I was hoping on real quick just to Plat the game and wasn't about to deal with all that jazz. There was a glitch to replicate inventory materials by canceling conversation with a shop keeper at a certain moment. I forget the details, but I basically cloned dozens of every boss soul, got super over-leveled and, because it's a Souls game, I still kept getting my ass kicked.

worst part for me was that part where Ares ports you to temple where you murdered your own family and you're supposed to fight with 9999999999 Kratoses

Only in singleplayer games. If you cheat in multiplayer, you are scum.

Last time I cheated in a video game was when Dark Souls first came out for PC. But I only turned them on when I got invaded or invaded a blatant cheater. Shit was pretty bad when it had GFWL. Did the Steamworks move change anything? Haven't played it in a while.

m.youtube.com/watch?v=XCnRqlKNF14&itct=CMMBEKQwGAAiEwij_YewuprNAhXYD1gKHYvSBvEyCmctaGlnaC1yZWM=&gl=AU&hl=en&client=mv-google

Did it all the fucking time when I was a kid. Haven't done it for many years now though.

So, only when you felt like pussing out, which was all the time? Got it.

>turns on cheats when invaded
>yet invades other people all the same

I used to. Mostly in PS1 games though like unlocking everything in Spider Man and some fun visual stuff in other games. I cheated some resources so I could complete the campaign in Age of Mythology when I was bad at videogames.

Not so much these days. Games rarely even have cheat codes and I'm not going to use trainers or whatever.

Probably not. From gives zero shits about hackers, essentially saying they're a feature.

where'd you get your hud and item icons, OP

there's no way anybody could enforce the screening rule. literally everybody did it. it's dumb to complain about it because its a level playing field and everybody can do it.

when he was facing cheaters

are you people all fucking illiterate or what

second

>Did the Steamworks move change anything?

it still doesn't have vac or any other kind of anti-cheat software so not really

Yes, still cheat all the time but only after I've completed a game just to see what kind of retarded things I can do

one of my friends got so pissed off once that he made us all put toilet paper tubes on our eyes and taped them down so that we couldn't look at more than one screen

it was actually kind of fun but it hurts your eyes after a while

I did in Demon's Souls with duping glitch because I couldn't be bother farming upgrade stones

jesus christ what a faggot you are.

thanks, bro. I feel better about myself now.

Better re-read his post yourself so that embarrassment can hit you.

After so many hours of farming slabs in Dark Souls, you bet your ass I cheated a whole bunch in when I got the PC version.

I haven't done any infinite health/money/ammo/whatever cheats since, shit. Vice City, I think. I just eliminate rare drop grinding when I can and if I've already done it a lot.

But I actually kind of like grinding, so I don't even do that often.

lmao. p alpha friend there m8. none of my friends could make us do that, i'd just be like fuck off.

That's fucked, user.

You and your friends were fucked up kids.

Warcraft 3 still remember the cheats

Witcher 2, to get the achievement for the hardest difficulty.

Found a thread where someone uploaded their save to a Dropbox. I don't have the time to do it in one playthrough without dying.

Inb4 caring about achievements

I see what you're thinking now, but the grammar is incorrect if that is the case.

>when I got invaded, or when I invaded a blatant cheater
or
>when I got invaded by or invaded a blatant cheater

The grammar in the post is equivalent to the first option, and not the second.

I used to mod characters into DkS 1&2 because I didn't want to go through the whole game for a PVP build. Never really CHEATED, though, unless you count the 999 human effigies/humanities and red/blue eye orbs

I always use a save game editor to skip the fight with Sif.
> Fighting Sif for the first time
> Get him down to the last sliver of health to where he starts limping
> He falls on his side
> Suddenly reminded of my dog when we had to have him put down and he was lying on his side as he drifted away

Can't do it. Just can't.

thereisnospoon

It's not cheating, I do it too for PvP. I also turn durability off and infinite humanity with cheat engine.

I used to turn on hacked weapons on giant dad's just to ruin their saves before PvP watchdog ever existed as well. It's not cheating if the guy is a faggot.

fuck yes. Konami code was needed so badly in Contra it didn't even feel like cheating.

I don't cheat because the second I do I lose all interest in continuing to play the game.

That cheat is implanted in my mind and I wish I could forget it
>Have a return to nexus item on belt
>have enough souls to buy something from the weapons clerk
>select something and hover over the yes
>walk slowly to the storage guy
>when the screen disappears and the guy doesn't call you rude for walking away, open up the return to nexus item and go over yes but do use it
>when right next to the storage guy, click start and talk to the guy and store the item you want duplicated
>you will now teleport back to the nexus and have 99 of that item in the storage

It sounds REALLY ''that kid'' but for some fucking reason it works. Oh the rage messages I got because I was around level 10 using fully maxed out dragon weapons.

Cheesing ain't cheating

This

Don't worry, user. I did the same. I could definitely go back and beat it now, but it was impossible for me as a kid.

My biggest problem with the EWJ games is that both titles have a few stages that are just tedious and awful to play through, e.g. Down The Tubes (the submersible part), Puppy Love (way too long and happens too many times), and the one where you have to carry the balloon to Major Mucus in EWJ2.

Come to think of it, EWJ2 is full of tedious bullshit gimmick levels. It's a shame since the game is so well-polished and has great animations for everything.

Yes because I'm a causal

I feel you, bro

GTA 3 and Vice City when I was a kid I cheated in.
I pretty much cheated in most games.

I used to cheat a lot in Oblivion, shit was so fun.

Does gitting gud count as cheating? If so then yes.

Yup, S4Leauge was piss to hack for a while and everything was client side and the server would auth any changes use to have a turret that could see the whole map and like a 0.5 dam increase (too many hacks its obvs) then use to hide turret in locations where people would walk past but it had already seen them before the corner and just ace em.

As a kid, all the time.
Age Of Empires, Tiberian Sun, Tony Hawk, etc etc.

Used glitches a lot on one run and cheated levels on another CBA leveling for a new run.

I don't even know how to do so or where to procure cheats

FUG. Meant for MP games

I used the glitch to give people pure bladestones

only in multiplayer games

I use cheat codes any time they're available but I try not to until I beat the game or get bored.

I use console commands the same way. Used to go apeshit with them in HL2 because you can basically rewrite the entire game from the console, changing weapon range, damage, all kinds of shit.

Used to ESP a little in Source til I got VAC banned, haven't cheated in a Steam game since.

Cheated like fucking mad in this game called Gunz: The Duel. Got to high level legitimately then used fucking absurd hacks to ruin the game for other people because I was an edgelord 15 year old dickhead.

Had to cheat in CoD 4 back on the 360 because a buddy was playing on my console and ended up in a modded lobby that was set to give you negative XP if you killed people but tons of XP if you killed yourself. He didn't know. By the end of the match I was permanantly stuck at the level I was at with no hope of ever earning enough to level up again, and I wasn't even past level 35 on that prestige. Had to get on se7insins and ask someone to invite me to a modded lobby so I could fix my XP.

Wish it was possible to give me a shitload of money on PS4 GTA because the missions are boring and I don't want to give Rockstar IRL dollars for shark cards. But apparently it's not really possible on PS4 for some reason.

So yeah, I used to be a cheater and I still do in single player games when it's fun.

fast forward system clock
cheat engine for flash games
gameshark codes in emulators
Diablo 2 char editor to max out skills and make bows that shoot bone spears and trigger novas on impact

>Not using the D2 editor to create a ring that allows you to summon Diablo

The fuck are you doing ding-dong?

I miss the hero editor so much.

So nice that Dark Souls 1 kept the old tradition of button cheat codes alive.

Any chance i get, If you are not cheating you are not trying, I even go so far as editing the game files if i can

You actually don't need to teleport completely, you can cancel out of the animation instead. I used it with the miracle version.

Wallhack and aimbot in Counter Strike.
Flyhacks and godmode in World of Warcraft and Guild Wars.
Bots in Diablo.
Duping and item spawning in Minecraft.
Infinite health stamina and soul spawning in Dark Souls.
Speedhack in Ultima Online.

Beat DS1 DLC on NG+ by following a guide on how to actually activate it, stupid fucking design.

Then after I beat DLC after countless retries I tried pvp. Oh man, it got to me alright. If everyone's gonna be popping mushrooms like they're just lying around then I got no qualms about multiplying my demon titanites, fuck that grind.

PHOTON MAN

All day long.

?

Despite its many patches, much like Demon's Souls they left an item dupe glitch in. The easy version only works with boss souls/firekeeper souls, only items that have a confirmation screen.

Ah, I didn't know about that.

I usually parry and do the dupe, no jumping or rolling required. Altough for females only some weapons on the right hand for some reason. Like I can dupe with a zweihander on, but a longsword can't. It's really weird

Everytime i make a new dark souls character on ps3 i just go straight to the forest and wait until i invade a hacker or high level person and i message them asking them for upgrade materials and stuff i also help them kill the forest invaders so i can get millions of souls so does that count?

You have to two-hand to dupe with some weapons as a female, it's weird.

When I was little I cheated in many games. Gothic, GTA, Quake etc.

Nowadays I cheat mostly in Bethesda games when I'm stuck due to some fucking glitch or to save some time (e.g. when I'd have to travel to some factory to find some shit for crafting or just go to Diamond City and buy it for 0.001% of my caps then I prefer to add this item via console). Tendency to do this grows simultaneously with play time.

You'd be hard pressed to find anyone that never used cheats in GTA.

I made a new account for CS:GO and decided I'm gonna cheat on it to see how far can I get and how long will it take to get a vac ban
I used different free cheats from mpgh, kept checking if they're updated or not
didn't play TOO obvious, but I've been told I'm kind of being obvious a lot
I got to global elite and only after 7 months I finally got vaced, and that was just because I used an outdated cheat by accident

I swear to god bus drivers open the doors early just to tempt dumb kids into doing this

I played trough dark souls with trainers on my first play

Always

Who remembers the dupe glitch in Oblivion? I had so much fun with that

Hotline miami 2 hard mode... I'm so sorry

when I was a kid I would enter Halo servers and pretend I was from Microsoft, then when I lost, I'd crash the server using some tool I found online

>because Ivory King's tiger and Fume Knight was bullshit.
How bad are you at videogames?

Only in singleplayer games when I was a kid. Like GTA SA, that game was the shit with the riot code and stuff like flying cars and turning everyone into clowns.

Holy shit yes. When I started to play on PC I even did it even though I could just use consolecommands to give myself everything I'd ever need.

Only did it at the start of the game though, usually around 2-3k gold so I could buy the shack in the Imperial City.

I abused the fuck out of the cloning glitch in emerald.
