ITT: Very overrated games

ITT: Very overrated games.

JSR is OK, but it's still a bit crap, and so is JSRF. Not sure at all why this series is so beloved or why anybody would want another.

The Music.

If you like the soundtrack then why not just listen to that while playing a better game?

Because the soundtrack doesn't fit other games, stylistically?

So just listen to the soundtrack then.

You don't understand because your childhood was shit and your parents never loved you.

Doesn't really fit an everyday life of shitposting

I always have the JSRF soundtrack on in the background whenever I play as Lucio in overwatch.

>tfw beat JSR on my dreamcast a few years ago
>still one of my favorite games

Anyone who enjoys JSR mainly because of the music should play Sonic Rush

its good good atmosphere and style and music.

the controls/mechanics are decent

here
I beat that too

Amazing music, atmosphere and character design
eh to good gameplay.

JSR is definitely overrated. I don't agree with JSRF.
JSRF was what a sequel should be. It used new tech, made the gameplay better, updated the characters, enviroment, but it still kept the same style and aesthetic.
I could definitely see a third one and the changes. I can see the updated gameplay taking inspiration from air gear. The story could be more gang based, like The Warriors. Since the theme was always a funky-futuristic style, the music could stay in the same realm as the past games, but you could also add more detroit style house music, juking music, more rap (like Danny Brown or Run The Jewels), even some punk or speed metal.

.io was better because you could actually seek the playlist.

>It's another late comer wanting to call an older game overrated episode.

Where the FUCK is JSRF HD.

JSR's never really do have much of a story and there's a lot of potential to with the way the character present themselves.

Would a new JSR game benefit from more story? Or simply short conversations? The first one was a lot more vibrant for sure.

Sega doesn't have the liscenses to a lot of the music anymore, it just wouldn't be the same

OP should have actually named an overrated game

Because if Jet Set Radio were overrated Sega would actually give two shits about it and release JSRF HD

>tfw cant find JGR GBA anywhere

does that game even fucking exist

For a story, maybe not "The Warriors," but definitely something that puts focus on crews. THUG 2 has a story, that's so wild, that it might actually work for JSR.

>GBA game prices
I just went ahead and got me a flashcart since I was going to play Mother 3 and FE6 eventually, I'm sure you could find a rom of it on somewhere like emuparadise
