What changed
Got rid of the dumb fucks and brought in a team that knows what they were doing
Yes, but what changed
You're not convincing anyone Todd.
An official post says they balanced the chaingun, combat shotgun and rocket launcher, plus the waiting time between matches has been reduced to 60 seconds. You can read the post here

Shits great, no more constant chain gun fuckers.
>mfw plasma rifle master race
That's cool but I swear if they don't add any SP content with the DLCs I'll flip shit
...

unmaker when
When did Sup Forums suddenly like d44m's multiplayer?
since they fixed it, apparently
It was never really shit, honestly just nothing special and needed some support and reworking, and id confirmed they are actually going to support and rework a lot of shit, even mentioning the PC player base too, which is a good sign given that they are always an after thought. The patch today already improved a lot of stuff
>going back and listening to complaints and fixing shit
>in 2016
>by a AAA company under ZeniMax
I'm just as surprised as everyone else.
Honestly they could do the opposite of what Quake Live did and make a classic arena game mode , start with the pistol and having to look for weapons around the map
War.
Todd has no involvement in iD
Maybe god will be kind and Carmack will get tired of his facebook overlords and Romero will realize that blackroom is a dumb concept and the balance will be restored as they lead us into the Quake 5 glory.
A man can dream
>Still region locked
>Dead anyways
There's so much wrong with the MP it's not going to get fixed until half a year when nobody fucking cares anymore.
This would fix all issues I have with the multiplayer. I would play it a lot more if they added that one mode
There's a season pass being sold so if they didn't do something to make it less a train wreck it would be extremely - unprofitable - for them.
The game is published by Bethesda
Aka the last remaining non shit publisher
They don't force online and you don't get microtransactions in your singleplayer games and they also allow creative freedom for their devs.
I mean they're not all good but the games don't have trademark ubisoft and EA bullshit all over that.
>You're not convincing anyone Todd.
This.
The game flopped already, no need for more desperate shilling anymore. Just let it go.
>Arkane
>MachineGames
>id
Shit you're right.
Beth Softworks are still shit though.

I'll never completely forgive them for what they did to Dark Corners of the Earth and its development studio. DOOM is actually the first game I've bought of theirs since that fiasco, and even then I feel a bit dirty for doing so.
Think of the development studio what you want but they're good on the publishing side.
...
The only reason they're "fixing"(you can't actually fix it without scraping it altogether as it was built from the ground up to be shit) it is because their season pass is multiplayer content only.
Yup. I pretty much watched this go down live on their forums back in the day. The first warning sign was when Bethesda made it a timed Xbox exclusive despite already built their core audience out of PC users when they were with a former publisher. Almost no one on the forums had an Xbox or was going to get one for it, yet if Bethesda had its way we wouldn't even have gotten that version.
You're right to feel dirty user. They're still wiping away everything that makes the Fallout series good and then there's Skyrim. Don't support them in their endeavors if you don't want to see them become yet another EA-like.
whoah, hold on there user. By discouraging others from embracing the Bethesdanet and Bethesda Community Content Market for Paid Mods, you're enabling the harmful monopoly that is Steam.
I know, and I'll be sure to do so in the future. I only made the exception with DOOM because they had minimal involvement and because it feels like such a special occasion. Fallout ended with 2 as far as I'm conserned and there hasn't been any interesting Elder Scrolls since Daggerfall and Morrowind.
