I honestly can't stand MGS games and the negative impact they've had to videogames. Now developers think it's okay to have mediocre gameplay and janky controls as long as the plot is convoluted and there's enough random gimmicks in there barely related to the gameplay.

Can somebody explain this thread to me? I have never enjoyed a MGS game but I always respected Kojima because I've considered him to be somebody who is willing to tread new ground in the story telling medium.
What is inherently wrong with Kojima?
