I honestly don't care about the sexualisation or the shitty personality. I just wish they'd spend less time on writing and more on good gameplay.

Zero Mission had some story sections as well, but they were short, unobtrusive, and were honestly better written than most of Fusion or Other M. Simply because they showed shit instead of having terrible dialogue and weak characterisation.

The section near the end of Zero Mission which briefly flashbacks to Samus' childhood was more interesting than any of the story in either of those games. With the possible exception of the building up of the threat of the X and the SA-X in particular in Fusion, that was pretty decent.
