Not ALL ubisoft games are shit. They're really full of ups and downs. I guess with the down period of the Tom Clancy failures they might make something better with this. I mean, Black Flag, Primal, and Blood Dragon were all good releases.

I am more optimistic for this since the protagonist seems 100% better than Aiden "Batman" Pierce, the crafting and devices are much better (drones and 3D printed guns and explosives, oh my), mass hacks and non-lethal routes, and the multiplayer seems like it might lean on the GTA V style instead of HURR DURR YUR BEING INVADED

I just hope they retcon the last game, don't downgrade, minimize DLC, and keep LA the sunny atmosphere it is. Unlike Chicago which despite being my hometown appeared edgy and too cyberpunking, the contrast of sunny LA with Orwellian themes is really cool.

They cant even fight back against you!
You can also routinely pause the game to check if you were being invaded as the game doesn't pause when someone else is in your game.

One of the things I liked about Aiden is that it how he moved and fought in the environment was centered within a degree of realism. How he ran, climbed, fought, stumbled, and so on all reflected a guy with a lot of experience as a vigilante, but no special formal training. Nothing he did physically was too ridiculous for someone that learned as he went along. Then Marcus comes along and isn't cast within the same visceral feeling for his movement through the environment, and the billiard ball on a piece of rope just screams shitty OC. I don't like it.

What's wrong with a middle ground? It's best to analyze an issue from both points of view.

I thought this was dumb as shit first time I saw it, but I thought about it and there is an interesting game play ideas that could be done with it.

Like you could print off a simpe zip gun or silencer if you needed it for part of the game, but it will break after a few shots and can't stand up against a proper firearm until later on.
