Wild Arms 5, and Xenogears are two with "You were supposed to lose" fights. I overleveled in XG and killed Grahf, but he stops at one HP, then insta-kills your party, which is cheap as fuck. Never managed to beat the crazy moustache guy in Wild Arms though
