If GTA VI were to combine the best and most immersive TECHNOLOGICAL elements of IV and V then you'd have a game I'd be able to play til my death bed.

It's takes tremendous skill. Dodging all the ramming, lagging faggots and avoiding them when they don't brake and crash out on corners takes the talent of an F1 driver.

IV is the better game but holy shit does the online of V blow it out of the water though. Hoping they go for even greater TECHNOLOGY in VI.

Rockstar should have skipped last gen. Last gen systems held GTA V in scope (we could have had San Fierro and Las Venturas). But the money was probably too hard to pass by seeing how greedy Rockstar is now (abother victim of the microtransaction meme).

I gurantee nobody but kids will remember V as a great game.

The online modes in IV were ok and the freeroam was inadequate, the online in V is amazing put 200 hours into it compared to the 15 or something in IV. IV's story, TECHNOLOGY, world etc in singleplayer were much better. V's story was boring for most of it and the three characters gimmick didn't add much for me.

IV did completely forget what a batshit and fun game GTA always was, and although V might have gone back to that it's still fucking garbage.

GTA IVs online was simplistic and very limited. I mainly played free roam just fucking around. And you know what, it still blows GTA V out of the water.

GTA V online is literally load times and shark cards. I can't think of anything more boring.

So many of the things in that video are completely false. You can fly out of your car in V like IV, in the video it acts like you can't.

But hey, let's ignore EVERYTHING that V did better than IV. Having every cactus, Joshua tree, and fences being destructible on last gen systems was amazing. The fucking game is 3 times the size of IV and has way better texture on everything.

The thing I liked the most about IV is the gunfighting.
In GTAV, it feels so plasticity and they are often over in seconds, whoever gets the first lock on wins instantly
With 4 it's different. The gunfights feel more fun and even the guns themselves feel better.
Also with 4 its difficult to be outnumbered, but you could still hold off for a while, in 5 it is basically impossible to do serious damage to a group of people by yourself or keep them away for more than half a minute

Heists, missions, activities and free roam combined with the cars, houses, garages and all that other shit was vastly superior in V over IV. V's online with most of IV would be almost perfect.

You should play the expansions they're great.

Literally load times? Sure, if you're trying to do missions back to back to back. You know why? Because the game has to load! The online in V is so much better, you can actually own an apartment and have personalized cars that you can call in. You're a fucking moron.

GTA V single-player is somehow actually less fun than IV single-player, and that's not just a retrospective "hmm, maybe IV wasn't so bad" statement either. It had much, MUCH less to do than V yet I somehow still spent many more hours in it.

Just play Episodes from Liberty City. TLAD has one of the best stories of any GTA game, and TBOGT the best gameplay. Think of it as grounded, yet over the top; which is what V shot for, but failed due to a multitude of reasons.

Heists, missions, activities and free roam that always take forever to load, even sometimes getting stuck in the clouds. Try getting half a dozen friends together in one game and see how long it takes from start to finish. The rockstar servers are a mess.

GTA IV is the worst mainline GTA. The technology behind it doesn't save it. It's all just gimmicks that look nice in trailers and make you feel this game has content which it sadly doesn't have.

GTA V made plenty of mistakes like turning down the euphoria gimmick too hard. Or the fact that one shot in the foot can kill any civilian. But overall the gameplay simply offers more and better content.

Fuck man, I loved to roleplay Nico as a professional assassin that always tried to avoid unnecessary killing. So even if I was forced to fight the police or something I'd always aim for the legs and then let then limp away to safety.
