>tfw you're still on a stock 560 TI in the current year
Tfw you're still on a stock 560 TI in the current year

What games are there on PC that would require you to upgrade???
Literally everything that isn't shit runs on a toaster
>tfw still using an 8800 GT
Well I guess my 9800 GTX has got someone beat at least. Still useless though.
I feel you brotha. I am using a 6800 hd.
>still using a GeForce 4 Ti 4600
life is suffering when poor
How and why?
7850 ALL THE WAY SENPAI!
>just built a new PC after saving for over a year
>GTX 960
>mfw it runs all the games I play without issue
im gonna do it
im gonna buy a fucking 480
280x with a phenom ii 965 ;____;
it's starting to show it's age
I've got integrated graphics... on an amd CPU
750 ti
my 290 is holding up pretty well, but then again it's not very old
Me too, so should everyone here really since we all seem to be poorfags
>using a GTX 650
Should I upgrade senpai?
>$200 AMD card
>beats the 980
wew lad.
my 3 year old 650 ti runs all the games i play very well. I dont plan on updating anytime soon. Besides, i have literally zero interest in all upcoming games
Try 6870 muthafugga
Who else /Intel HD530/?
Was talking to the poorfags obviously. And it apparently might beat the 980
my
nigga
I don't actually still use my gtx 560Ti, I just have it as a backup. That card is a tank.
I upgraded last year from the 260 gtx, it held surprisingly well
I'm still on 6870
what's wrong with it, nigga
>260
my nigga
who geforce 4 mx440 here?
I'm surprised no one has shat on you for buying a 960 yet
But I know that feel
>you bought a GTX 960
GTX560Ti works for me.
I'm considering upgrading to an R9 480 though.
Try 550TI fucker
Not so much poorfags, it's just that all signs indicate it's going to be the new price/performance king, so there's no reason to get anything more expensive unless you're an enthusiast.
i upgraded from a 470gtx to a 390 over christmas
I'd list some recent games, but
>everything that isn't shit
In that case you literally have no reason to ever upgrade unless your computer fucking breaks down from posting on Sup Forums years from now
>you bought a 980ti
Wait why?
Currently have a 750ti and will upgrade to 960 soon
What's wrong with it?
Very bad price/performance ratio. Especially high memory versions, because of gimped memory bandwidth.
Not powerful enough is what I'm guessing
at least the 960M I'm running doesn't feel powerful enough
I travel a lot and needed something better than intel graphics
nothing, i was only gonna play Angband anyway...
my 560 Ti started acting up and i got a cheap 770 instead. no regrets, 1080 champ does it all and does it cheap.
I'm on a '09 i7 870 and the '12 HD7870 running most things on high
Are you me op?
Welcome to die
>graphics card recently stopped working
>have to use motherboards intel graphics
>TFW still HD 4890
I have a GTX 570, I feel you OP. At the end of this month, I'll grab a RX 480 though.
What's the 560 TI of today as compared to the 560 TI 5 years ago?
I'm and it handles modern games somewhat okay. Often I need to tone down things like AA or obviously hairworks but it handles 1080p 60fps in 90% of all cases. The problem is it's hamstrung by its paltry VRAM (1.2GB for me) so Dark Souls 3 won't even run on it.
You think that's bad?
I have an Intel Duo and a GT630.
How? Mine can barely keep 60 fps in GTA V with low settings.
I want to believe it, but I won't until I see those benchmarks.
>mfw Geforce Gt 240M
6800GT 256 AGP
Come at me bros.
My GF's brother gave me his old gaming rig with following specs:
Chassis: Thermaltake Armor
Motherboard: ASUS P5Q3 Deluxe
CPU: Intel E8600
CPU cooler: Zalman CNPS9700 NT
RAM: OCZ PC3-12800 1GB Platinum (x4)
GPU: Sapphire Radeon HD 4870 x2
PSU: OCZ-Z850M 80PLUS Gold Modular
No HDDs of any sort.
How shit is it?
I have some money saved and would like to build some reasonable gaming rig out of parts I already have + have some upgrade options Looking at some Skylake i5 + Nvidia GTX 980 .
What should I keep / throw out? What should I purchase? Will I be able to re-use this cooler on different socket, say LGA1151?
My work buddy promised to sell me his less-than-year-old GeForce 980 GTX cheaply when he will upgrade to 1080 GTX.
Keep : Case and PSU
Throw : everything else
Grab either a Zen CPU or an i5 Skylake + RX 480 when it's out and you're golden.
Since new CPU / GPU will not use nowhere near 850W, wouldn't I waste electricity?
Even before AMD's conference, the R9 380 was a better card for the same price (or usually less) and now that the RX 480 is launching in like two weeks, there's no point going for it anymore.
And if you haven't upgraded to it yet, even if you're one of those people that has to stick with one GPU company for some insane reason instead of getting the best for your money, the 960 is most likely going to be replaced by the 1060 at that price range very soon. It hasn't been officially announced yet, but Nvidia never lets AMD go uncontested for very long. "Just wait" can get frustrating to hear in the PC upgrade game, I know, but seriously. If you don't already have a 960, and you can't bring yourself to go AMD for the RX 480, then for real. Just wait. Set your money aside and wait for the 1060.
Normally the PSU only outputs whatever is needed.
X2 555 with gtx 460
Ah, great, thanks!
It's a good card
For you
>tfw still using a 270
Is an i7-3770k still a good CPU, at least?
I'm on a 630 fanless vanilla playing everything on low to Med
and my wallet is full
Zero regrets
Planing on getting a 750ti once they are below 100e
>still
>still
That card is only two years old.
>tfw not underage or NEET shit and upgrade with every new series
>mfw gtx 660
But there's literally no need to. Do you like wasting your money?
The optimal way is to upgrade every other series
>tfw still using amd 5450 and core 2 duo can run all the games i want including emulation
on 640x480?
well i mostly play old games the only new game i am playing is mirrors edge on low which is also quite old.
i can run new indie games and fightcade and dota 2 too though
960m is mobile 750ti.
970m is comparable to desktop 960 (slightly weaker), but if your laptop has shitty thermals it will throttle performance.
>Still using Sapphire 7750
I know that feel too well.
660 Ti
>tfw using a 9500gt DDR2
my gtx 1080 should arrive on friday, hows that for a fucking jump in performance
......in one game heavily shilled by AMD, in DX12, according to AMD.
I'll hold off for some more benchmarks m80
GTX 970 and I'd like to upgrade to something more powerful because I have a 1440p monitor. Too bad anything that's faster than a 970 costs more than 500€. But hey, first world problems.
This, 4 years now. Literally never had any problems, will see if Witcher 3 will run badly. Playing Witcher 2 right now and it's running great
>tfw still using a i5 from 2010
>a GTX 760
>had 4gb of ram until a few months ago when I got 8
>still no need to upgrade
Why do people waste so much fucking money on their builds when they don't need it?
Might as well buy a pre-built if you are just gonna waste money.
Fellow 7870 user, reporting in. Still pretty good. Granted, I only use VSR to get to 1920x1080.
>tfw upgraded from a 560 to a 970 last year
>faggots were shitting on me for buying a meme saying it would be outdated within a month
>can still run pretty much everything maxed out
I'm going from a 750m in my laptop to a gtx 1070 tomorrow (if the package arrives on time). I can't wait.
there is no upgrading that thing. the cpu socket is old and not supported any more. any newer gpu you put in it will be bottlenecked by the cpu.
To be fair. You are a bit of a faggot for deliberately buying and supporting broken hardware, even if it performs more than okay for you.
It's like giving a medal to a murderer for not being a serial killer.
I'm still on an HD 5770
then again I don't really play games anymore :^)
I celebrated my pormotion at work by buying two GTX 1080's
I don't even know what I'm going to run with them. And I'm pretty sure my processor is going to bottleneck hard (i5 4670k @ 4ghz)
so will the rx480 have another model with dvi support or should i just get cucked and buy those expensive adaptors?
Stock 550ti here.
>tfw sapphire 7870 that causes reboots and blackscreens
I still run a 660
I'm on a 660 Ti from when I first put together my computer.
I don't really know much about graphics cards, how decent is it in this day and age?
>tfw still using ATI Radeon HD 3200
>tfw I still have 2 560ti's SLI'd
I'm probably going to upgrade soon, but I keep asking myself what games I'm doing it for and the only thing I can think of is Deus Ex.
>tfw on a raedon 6770M
Same, runs Overwatch in the high preset with a few tweaks on a stable 60.
>Deus Ex.
don't bother, they shitcanned sarif's voice actor
>tfw Radeon HD6670
Waiting on some benchmarks for the 1080 with aftermarket coolers.
I have a 2k monitor, lookin to get a VR headset for maximum comfy
>gt 330
>fan needs a manual innitial spin for it to work every 30 minutes
I'm just waiting for AYYMD to save us poorfags
