QTE and dodging simulator. Wow
I hope final fantasy 16 is gonna go back to its roots and be modernized at the same time
According to Tabata - the final quality of the game.
That means clipping, jerky animations, blurry image, terrible framerate and scripted boss fights.
It was clearly the fault of the guy playing it. They even had to reset it because he was fucking up so bad.
Should have pre-recorded it.
The objective was to hold out
He wasn't fucking up anything it was just a bad thing to show
OOOOHHHHH STAND
That was literally what they tried to do with 13
>QTEs
welp
>walking around with 0 HP

>wanting shitty turn based combat
you're in the minority.
Gameover when the MC dies, so they added an extra safety net where they are super weak, but can still do some stuff until they are really killed.
If that's the best they have to show the game is gonna be a disaster.
I mean, what was that? Jesus...
You have 2 health bars. 1st time you health reaches 0, you can hobble around and wait for someone to revive you or choose to use an item to restore HP. If you get hit in this phase, it knocks off your max HP. If you get hit to 0, you die and game over.
all im askin for is something playable with decent characters and story
Persona is going to finally kill this franchise for good.
They'd better explain that shit in the ATR tonight.
>yfw nothing will match this
Persona isn't coming out until next year in the west, where Final Fantasy has always sold most of its units.
And you're nuts if you think Persona 5 is going to sell more.Sadly, advertising is all that matters to sales.
enjoy you're smartphone game
What he's saying is that FF is trying to become a western normalfag franchise ala Assassin's Creed, denying its JRPG roots.
Mat is clearly just shit at playing the game, he barely even did anything.
No one even knows what Persona is.
They still think casuals love the spectacle of giant scale bosses when we all know giant bosses are piss easy shit with often shit cameras. Scalebound did the same thing. Only games like God of War do huge bosses well since they're often heavily scripted.
