I usually dislike dark souls games even after giving bloodborne a try but this game hits all the right spots with the combat. It just feels so fucking good to play. And carrying around 20-30 to their mark of the conqueror was probably my favorite gaming moment this year. Easily got 40 hours out of the demo.

The first level in the demo was William arriving in Japan and getting off of his boat. They might have considered making him half Japanese in one of the earlier iterations of the game, but in this one he's all Western.

I certainly hope not. What they have to do is release another demo with the changes included and have another feedback form open only to those who complete it. Not that that would be as much of an achievement if they actually do make it easier through the changes but it would help to separate the wheat from the chaff even if it's a bit late.

He wasn't made a samurai due to his skill in battle. He advised the shogun greatly on foreign policy and pretty much put Japan on the map as far as trading was considered. He was a pretty big deal, and even today in Japan they still remember him fondly. They like that this game is about William and they like his design.
