Post your character if you're a sexual tyrannosaurus
Don't if you're a slack jawed faggot
Here's to the thread not being deleted right away.
Well butter my butt and call me a biscuit
why was the music in FO3 so much better than in FO: NV?
That seems like a matter of personal preference, user. If you don't like country-ish music, you won't like a lot of NVs music. Same for 3.
It wasn't though, FNV's music was actually themed and fitting, not just generic 50's music slapped on top of a shitty """"""""""rpg""""""""/fps with no context
Because it was pretty much all jazz/pop music from the 30s/40s which is a GOAT period of music. I prefer NV's ambience and radio selection for the actual theme of the game but FO3 has some good tunes.
I never got why "Maybe/I don't want to set the world of fire" has become THE Fallout song.
It's a song from the 40s in a setting that is culturally stagnant around the late 50s/early 60s. I honestly think FNV has the better soundtrack because the music doesn't feel dated.
...
>it's a "mutated creatures create more of themselves by dragging people off and transforming them somehow" episode
Can we stop with this trope?
pretty cool dog mate
>It's a song from the 40s in a setting that is culturally stagnant around the late 50s/early 60s.
One thing I was into in NV was how it had a few songs that were actually written for the game to be played by characters in-universe, like Home on the Wastes. I'm pretty sure there was only a few of them (I can only think of two) but for a series that quickly became known for having iconic radio songs with FO3, I thought it was neat that they showed the developing culture by actually writing songs for the game.
there were 4(maybe 5) songs for the game
You say that, but they are just reworking of actual songs, done with a Fallout twist.
It's still welcomed, and I honestly wish they'd add custom songs in. It feels daft that the only holotapes still around are songs that were made in the 40s,50s and 60s. Why can't we hear a track from the 2050s or the 2060s?

you literally had this thread 20 minutes ago.
I couldn't name any songs from FO3 besides Butcher Pete and I Don't Want to Set the World on Fire, I just plain didn't like or don't remember 3's music.
Yeah, but it was still a neat touch to hear people sing about bighorners and New Reno.
Honestly I still don't fully understand the Fallout timeline. I had assumed that 50s culture simply happened later than it did in our actual timelines, and the music that plays in the games was actually music that was in style for the time.
don't worry you can hear FO3 music in FO4.
Because by 2020 everyone was using iTunes and Spotify. When the bombs fell the internet was gone and only music in analog format survived.
Does he make that same fucking faggy look on his face every day?
i don't really care if the music is from a time period in real life, i care if it fits the game and if it works for the game
no, he's a real bro.
From what we know already
>transistor wasn't invented until around 2070, rather than the 1950s; tech remained big and bulky
>atomic/nuclear power became somewhat of a norm
>USSR never fell; European Union formed earlier than normal
>China became the big powerhouse of communism
>EU and Middle Eastern Union blow shit out of each other because of oil shortages
>Chinese and Americans go to war with each other
>Americans annex Canada and Mexico
It stagnates rather than develops later on, which is why it's strange that even though the songs would sound the same, no radio has any holotapes later than the early 60s, despite there been 110 years between then and the bombs falling.
Most of it was pretty typical music but they got a little clever with ones like Let's Go Sunning and Way Back Home
It didn't happen later, it just never ended and cultural advancement stagnated. The world was perpertually stuck in cold war mode. Fallout follows the same timeline as the real world up until 1945, then it diverges.
What level for Dead Money? 20 or 25?
20 is what the game recommends and I never had overwhelming trouble at 15-20
Is it seriously impossible to complete Come Fly with Me just by murdering all the ghouls? Vargas even says he doesn't care how you do it, he just wants them gone.
Very disappointing desu I kind of expected to be able to do this
Are there any mods for this
