Well what sort of mentality are you trying to imply people have? Just having general excitement for the event of E3? No, that's how you set yourself up for disappoint, I sure hope none of you go into it with that sort of expectation. You just watch the shit, you watch all the shit, you don't watch it cynically, you don't watch it hopefully, you just watch it, and when something you like happens, then you can be interested, or even excited if you like it enough.
I don't understand what people expect. It's a business event, it's not really for us, but if you just have a level fucking head and don't expect anything, you can be surprised. Sony showed games, and that was good. They just let me see gameplay of new video games, I can't buy the games yet, I don't know much about any of them, but I got to watch a few new games that I might get to play one day, and that's cool, it as a nice change of pace from watching Netflix or Twitch.

That's because Beenox has been at the helm for the majority of the shitty ones.
Insomniac is working on this one with full blessing from Marvel and Sony.
Also, it's an original universe and webs actually connect to buildings.

Literally what did you expect? Like actually what were your expectations of the press conferences at E3 this year? What game would've blown it out of the water?
You know what the answer is, right? It's nothing. Nothing would've made you happy with this E3, nothing could've made you say it's good, no amount of anything could've made you like this E3, or any E3 ever. Either you want to like it too much, or you don't want to like it, either way you have an expectation and having an expectation is wrong and you've disappointed yourself.
It's a press event, it's a put 50 trailers on youtube for the casuals to find on facebook in 3 days time event, it's not an excite the neckbeards on the internet event, and it never will be, and even if it was, it still wouldn't excite you. Stop watching E3 ever year so you can save yourself complaining about it every year.

but Sup Forums rarely accepts something as great. That, I truly find unnatural. There were some really neat things to take away from this whole E3 but Sup Forums is too focused fighting with itself to realize it.

Well, Sup Forums isn't a hivemind. The people that were disappointed need to feel reassured in their disappointments by saying how disappointed they are and having people agree, and the people that liked it are doing the same thing. The people that think Nintendo are going to save(?) E3 are doing the same thing. When Sup Forums is just normal Sup Forums, it's people in their boards talking about the games they like, or arguing about them. Now that Sup Forums is E3 Sup Forums, it's people in their threads reassuring each other that ea/ubi/microsoft/sony/nintendo will/have one E3, all the games are good/bad, E3 was hype/disappointing. Everyone right now is trying to feel reassured in their decisions, like they always do, as is our nature as humans. I think it's just that Sup Forums is a naturally very cynical place that you'll notice a lot of overall disappointment, but you'll find just as much hype in other places that discuss video games.
