I'm in the mood for a good racing game. When I was younger I really loved NFS Underground because I loved all of the customization in the game. I like being able to make my car my own.
Are there any good, at least somewhat real-to-life racing games on PC that have good customization, large varieties of cars/customization, and good gameplay?
sorry, PC mostly has racing games that include actual racing, not this carnigger culture

Go on. Go to /ovg/ and bring a pic of a racecar that is not an MLP paint, Check the archives if you feel lost, you will see that shitza is for MPL or very bad itasha lovers.

I'm not even talking about like...RIMZ AND GRILLS.
I'm talking about like...engine customization and shit like that, you fucking loon. Shit like Gran Turismo 3. Get over yourself.
Wyatt Parker
I have no idea what you just said. I'm just looking for a recommendation, dude.

>he doesn't like ricing not being tuner is like saying "I love boys" anyway, for good arcade-sim racer wait for Horizon 3 and for car autism play dirt rally or asseto corsa
Jacob Morris
holy fuck what is with you people

What do you have? keyboard and mouse? a fucking xbox controller? If you are OP. the answer is "street legal racing redline" The game graphics aged bad, but the rest is unmatched, now more with the time it has, and the mods it also has.
>almost any car you want >bodykits, rims and lots of visual custom shit >you have to build and tune the engine part by part >go on a "city" on the day and race other cars to win money and reputation >go on the "city" on the night and there is an illegal drag race >game physics is on pair with carmageddon and the damage is realistic, so if you fuck it up, you really fuck it up. You can get the game for free nowdays, and the GOM webpage has a shit ton of mods.

>unsatisfied with a genuine reply ok

Are the graphics REALLY bad? I have somewhat of an issue playing games with real real bad graphics. I'm assuming the picture you posted is from the game, that doesn't look too bad. What's the extent of the cars?
Brandon Campbell
That image in particular is the best possible look. >mod car with very high poly and textures >very very high poly rims >redone reflections to make them look cool. It also depends of the quality of the mods, cars... they are thousands.
Well, then find or buy any need for speed past shift.... and navigate through menues to tune your shit, deal with rubberband and the worst AI possible.

Back then was the best, even in graphics. I only made 1 car, the 1st gen of the renault clio V6, i dont know if that shit is still there.
Liam Allen
I'd try project cars, asseta corsa, dirt 3, grid autosport, or forza 6. All of them are pretty good in their own ways.
Ryder Martinez
forza 6 is ass because it's a half-assed demo that runs poorly on most setups
Connor Morgan
It's still in beta, but I found it to be pretty fun for a free game.
Justin Anderson
also dirt 3 is leagues below dirt rally t. person who played a lot of dirt 3
Chase Taylor
The answer is always NFS IV: High Stakes.
All further questions, refer to above answer.
Nicholas Lewis
That's good to hear considering the fact that I loved dirt 3. I'm just waiting for the price on dirt rally to go down for now.

>What's good about it?
everything The Forza racing games have been dominating the genre for the last 10 years now
Kevin Foster
Dirt Rally is garbage compared to Dirt 3. Dirt 3 knew what it was an at least had silly arcade fun. Dirt Rally takes the fun out of it by taking itself seriously but the physics are way too bad to be a simulation.
