This game seemed promising, but it's Ubisoft and we all know by the time it releases, it will be so downgraded and watered down, it'll be like we're playing a fucking alpha version.
This year's E3 video is even more downgraded than the one in E3 2015.
I honestly want to like Ubisoft games but they keep fucking everything up.
Caleb Collins
Back then it looked like it played like shit, it still looks like it plays like shit muh grafics doesn't matter.
I partly blame them trying to do bullshit fake communication and making the mission overly complicated by "fucking up".
James Perez
Rainbow six siege and the division were pretty good. Ubisoft might actually be able to make good games now.
William Jenkins
I was excited until the gameplay, looked less Ghost Recon than fucking Future Soldier.
Charles Rogers
>I honestly want to like Ubisoft games but they keep fucking everything up.
OP here. I agree.
Some games they make have really cool concepts, and then when they execute it they shit the bed, every time.
I gave The Division (another downgraded game) a chance, and it was cool until it became an infinite grindfest, where it's all about grinding hours and hours for gear so that when you go into DZ you don't get your shit pushed in. Add to that people who farmed high-ends, and would just be assholes to anyone below them in DZ, just killing the shit out of you for no reason.
Wildlands seems like it could be really fun, but I'm sure the immersive atmosphere will be long gone by the time the game comes out, and it won't be as good as they make it seem.
Thomas Cook
Thought it looked great. Some of my friends agreed. Might buy it if any of them do. I absolutely wouldn't want it to play by myself however.
Robert Morris
Fuck off shill, both of those are downgraded shit games.
I just wanted MGSV: Not Shit edition with coop.
But noooooooooo.
Jose Lewis
Doesn't seem too awful when you can have 3 AI teammates, so you may not have to always play online, but of course it's more fun with friends.
I'm waiting until it releases to even consider buying it.
Carter Gutierrez
Yeah, here's how that mission will go down with real players. If you are allowed to kill the guy and it isn't an instant "game over" >Three lone wolf epic snipers jostle for a position to snipe the guy >One guy who thinks he's the operator tries to go in close range and gets toasted because he's by himself and then screams and quits
Or if you have to capture him alive, people will just block all the exits of the building with cars and then all run in and punch the shit out of the dude. How fucking incompetent were the people in this demo? They didn't cover any of the exits or disable the car right next to the exit. I guess they needed ebig chase.
Hudson Cruz
I can simply not be excited for an open world Ubisoft game anymore. The game looks like ArmA+MGS5 and while that sounds absolutely fantastic on paper I am sure the final game will be boring, tedious and utterly forgettable.
Lincoln Ross
>the division were pretty good Fuck off Guillemot.
Joshua Gonzalez
>the division >pretty good
Jaxson Campbell
Im talking about gameplay, not graphics you fucking child.
Kevin Sanchez
It will be your average open world Ubisoft game with 100 of worthless collectibles, 20 actual story missions and a bunch of of copy paste side missions to keep you grinding away at it for 50 hours.
Alexander Bell
Fine, Siege is actually good. Im not that invested in The Division though.
Jose Jackson
>shit games I am too.
Luke Ross
The thing for me is my buddies and I were doing heists in GTA one time, and there were a couple of points were we had two guys looking at each other that we needed to take down silently, and we actually needed to countdown so we shot both of them at the same time, and when we did it, it was a great feeling, so the idea of extrapolating on that type of precision gameplay with my buddies, even within the context of the setting they discussed sounds fantastic to me. By myself though? Not as much.
It's not even about graphics, but just overall world feel. In the E3 preview, it felt like I was in a place where shit could go down at any moment and I really had to watch my back. The actual game? You walk around and the worst that might happen is you bump into a citizen who needs medicine and drops you "le rare scarf". Otherwise enemy areas are pretty clear
Sebastian Price
What the fuck happened to the graphics? It looks like total shit. Even the animations are all jerky. I was super hyped for this but this just looks bad
Ryder Sanders
I'm guessing either Deliver EMP or Bikers setup in Series A. I know the feeling. I actually have one or two friends I play GTA with that are up for roleplay and being strategic, and it feels great when a plan goes accordingly (minus when enemies start shooting just because you have your scope on them); so we all loved the idea of Wildlands, where it was suggested we may be able to form a strategy and decide how to execute the mission, because it is somewhat rewarding to make a plan and execute it, especially with stealth. We'll see if that's even possible when it's released.
Nolan Ramirez
>all of the reviewers played a shit ton of hours >call it shit lmao
Colton Cook
The gameplay in the division was downgraded too, dumbfuck. They removed more than half of what was promised.
Lincoln Parker
Keep it stealthy
Man old R6 game were loud as fuck
Justin Richardson
Those motorbikes were really cool tho.
Gabriel Thomas
>game is good >few updates fuck up the game >becomes shit >more hackers arrive >even shittier WOW
Eli Smith
Yeah, bikes, so cool.
Kayden Long
Downgrades aside, it was enjoyable at first.
Once the glitches and farming methods came out, anyone who got a high level in DZ and had high end gear was guaranteed to fuck anyone else below.
Jacob Green
Right ?!
Jacob Mitchell
Totally agree.
Gavin Wright
this is generally how the division should have been. imagine being able to go around with a silenced pistol trying to pull of head shots that meant something etc etc
as for my complaints about wildlands, which i think are justified
>characters look too stiff >animations in general look stiff and robotic >there's no precision aim, it only goes directly into first person >and again, the stiff looking movements of the character
future soldier looked far more immersive in this respect, characters moved and slammed into cover with a sense of combat urgency...this just looks like another quickly put together ubisoft game. lazy looking.
still, what makes this game even remotely palatable.....is the fact it's NOT the division
just my opinion as a former fan of ubisoft games
Brayden Price
It's like those bikes... can ride on... DiRTâ„¢
Brayden Lewis
shooting system looked shit . like mgs 1-2 or mirrors edge bad
Aaron Sullivan
My favorite part of the E3 2016 video is at 8:14 when the guy jumps off a moving motorcycle and lands on his feet and just walks it off.
I know this game isn't meant to be realistic but give me a fucking break. He didn't even try to run it off, just jumped off and landed perfectly on his feet.
i'm going to be surprised if they even allow character customization's. i have a bad feeling they're going to be pre-set characters, wouldn't even be surprised if only a certain character has silenced weapons. but if that's not the case, kudos for allowing variety.
also expecting no pvp, or generic version of pvp
Anthony Reed
Im going to admit it. The car chase looked fun.
Never going to happen in a real game though. Far too casual and easy to sneak in this.
Jaxson Gutierrez
Go fucking kill yourself
Juan Cooper
Is this going to be another mostly online game or will it have a decent single player?
Zachary Cooper
Every AAA Ubisoft game is identical. So no.
Jordan Butler
No modern ubisoft game has good singleplay
Inb4 some moron spouts off some shitty modern ubisoft game. No. Youre wrong.
Juan Hernandez
Ubisoft needs to watch the sea of thieves trailer and learn what fun commentary is
Colton Brooks
I agree with Siege, been playing the shit out of it on PS4 ever since the sale.
But The Division. Geddoudahere.
Henry Davis
Can't into spoilering shit
Adrian Jackson
The only good Tom clancy franchise is Splinter cell.
Everything else is shit and no suprise ghost recon will suck again.
Ryder Campbell
Yeah no.
Owen Bell
just watching the character go from standing to crouching and vice versa, looks like a wacka' mole popping up. just, ugh...looks so crappy, like void of imagination for the human body. but that's straight from the GRAW series, those character movements were okay at the time, but in hindsight and compared to future soldier they're garbage and not really immersive.
i know this sounds like a weird thing to complain about, but this is one thing ubisoft used to excel at. they always nailed body movement, it helped create a sense of immersion.
but whatever, this company has gone from some pretty legit ideas and games to pumping out half assed material regularly. you can tell they peaked early/mid of last gen. after that they've tried to dip into the casual market and failed miserably.....but you know i dont play far cry, so i could be wrong. i heard that game was actually alright
Dominic Price
So does everyone dislike the division for the same reason i do, that it's like destiny where what sounded like a cool open world shooter turned into an mmo with guns, or is there some other reason?
Liam Flores
>"Let's keep it stealthy guys" >"You got it!" >Bald fuck pulls out his unsilenced carbine and shoots the next guy who doesn't even see him coming Not to mention all the other cringy "we're totally gamers guyz" talk.
Daniel Richardson
I was expecting it to be PvE and then eventually you'd branch off into the DZ where PvE would be nuts and you'd really have to work together to gain "le rare loot"
It turned out to be a short PvE experience, and then forced PvP in DZ because people with fragile egos wanted to kill those who couldn't kill them.
Gabriel Smith
I can already tell you pirate you games so your opinions are less valuable than dirt
Levi Walker
That's another thing that fucks me up. Why does it have to sound so forced?
If you look at the Ubisoft downgrade video I posted, it's like that with every trailer for a game with co-op. The Division, Siege, uh... i guess that's it.
But as I was saying, it's all too forced and not like actual people are playing.
Sebastian Evans
The showcase looked like dog dick, but I'm still mildly hopeful. I had a lot of fun with GRAW2, so I hope it will be something like it. Worried it will be a generic TPS though.
Lincoln Nguyen
>ubisoft will downgrade the graphics >objective markers literally everywhere to hold your hand and guide you through the game >the AI is shit >expecting me to pay 60 funbucks + season pass for this pile of shit
Noah Edwards
OP doesn't understand that changing the graphics is part of game development
Alexander Gray
>PvP well that's dumb. Everyone is an operator working for the government.
Eli Cooper
>Excited for more Ubisoft scam
Anthony Clark
Changing the graphics isn't the same as totally stripping all visual and aesthetic appeal from the game.
It's worse than PS1 era where game intros had amazing graphics and the game looked pixelated, at least it was understandable back then.
Jace Morales
>PS4
Ryan Walker
I know I'm in the minority here but ubisoft puts out some of the most "fun" games every year. I'm hyped for just about everything they got coming besides the dancing game stuff
Landon Myers
this ubisoft hasnt made a decent game in years why should i care about how they ruin ghost recon?
Daniel Sullivan
pro: no shoehorned woman con: shoehorned nigger I am quite excited
Camden Hernandez
have to watch this on mute because of the cringeworthy fake dialogue
nobody talks liek this
Henry Parker
>The Division: Electric Bogaloo whoa.....
Sebastian Allen
Have you seen what the devs from DS2 said when they had to basically remake a lot of textures from the E3 demo? It's part of game development. They have to make sure that the game will run smoothly on the platform that it gets played on. So chaining all visual and aesthetic appeal to a game is normal in some cases. Take Watchdogs for example; looked really good at E3, wasn't fuck all what we paid for. That's because the current platforms that it would get released on (or the game itself) wasn't stable enough. It's all part of game design.
Daniel Mitchell
>Take Watchdogs for example; looked really good at E3, wasn't fuck all what we paid for. >Watchdogs >paid for >he actually bought it
William Parker
Sure as fuck would've been better with a qt woman than a disgusting nigger.
Asher Bennett
This looks like a not as good MGSV controls wise.
Bentley Long
The Ghost Recon series always had female and black Ghosts, white boy.
Evan Parker
women that doesnt know their place are instant turnoff
Caleb Gutierrez
Yeah, well "tough", masculine women are pretty fucking bad, but still better than niggers.
Samuel Thomas
I watched the Watch Dogs 2 trailer then this. What the fuck. Watch Dogs had some good animations but this looks like an Early Access game.
Lincoln Price
I think they wanted more chatter than just what the characters provide, but wanted it more informative/in character than what real players would provide.
It ends up being this weird compromise that sounds worse than either, because it's just fucking unnatural.
Nicholas Harris
The designers from Ubisoft are very incompetent, Wild Lands provides a good base for a great game, but they manage to make something boring and repetitive, is the samething with every game.
Wild Lands would be better with some inovative multiplayer 4vs4.
Leo White
I grew up on GRAW
My co-op bro and I are eagerly awaiting more info
I'm not really too big on the location, makes it look like Just Cause without the grappling hook.
