Tfw you get the bad ending on your first playtrough

Where did all go so wrong

Ciri is emotionally unstable and quite immature. If you dont do everything to cheer her up and help her she flies off the deep end and you get the bad ending.

People who claim shes a mary sue seem to forget this.

I feel fucking horrible dude
All this time, all these hours and it ends on that

Probably should replay on Death March and do all sidequests this time, I played for the story on my first go

I got that in the first playthrough as well.
Shit got me really mad and depressed because it was just because of ONE decision where I didn't agree on her. Went back, agreed on her and then got the best ending.

I think they should've handled the system differently.

I'll look up the choices when I replay the game, it seems finnicky from what you say.

It's just as that other user said, they made Ciri immature as fuck.

Pretty much

This is why the DLC is far superior

I liked Ciri for the most part but I just think that everything past The Isle of Mists was kind of rushed out. Everything ends so quickly
I might go for the DLCs later on, right now I'm too depressed to play something else other than the vanilla game. Should start it on death march.

What's the bad ending?
I got Geralt and Yennefer retiring cozily and basically adopting Ciri IIRC (been a while)

Ciri dies while repelling the White Frost
Geralt goes to Velen to kill the last Crone, and to find Ciris, essentially Vesemirs, witcher medallion
Geralt finds the medallion and kneels down in the hut, overrun by monsters.

The endings only change according to your decisions with Ciri, right?
So I can play up to the Isle of Mists however I want and it wont change the outcome?

well, she is in her early 20. Women are kinda immature in that age.

as soon as you save ciri and start interacting with her, all of your decisions involving her matter.

Do everything she wants or makes her happy

Got the good ending just finished, been playing for 9 months, time for the dlc's

Fair enough, thanks.

I played my first playtrough on the easiest setting and barely did any sidequests or notice boards
I got all the different costume DLCs now too so this should remain fresh and fun for me.

Are the DLCs worth it? I've heard good things about HOS but B&W had some mixed responses at least on Sup Forums

>Women are kinda immature fullstop
Fixed that for you

You're just retarded. I can't imagine how stupid can someone be to get the bad ending. I bet you're one of the guys who chose this hairstyle as well.

got bad ending on the playthrough too.

and i fucked up every choice.

>other people choose different things when it comes to somewhat immature young women
stop the fucking presses

Avallac'hs laboratory for example is a perfect example. Ciri suggests tearing up the place like she did in Kaer Morhen and I immediately think of the scream tornado she performed. I didn't think it would be some playful smashing-of-the-pots type of deal like it is.

Why am I stupid if I tell Ciri to fuck off once or twice? Agreeing with her on every turn to get the good ending sucks.

That's one of the choices that doesn't matter lol

It is, because that was the choice I had to change to get the good ending. I'm

Well my ending clearly showed the scene where Geralt puts on the jewel on Ciri, found in the laboratory.

The good ending shows them trashing the place, and both of these are 2 different choices.

So yeah, I think it matters.

well then accept your choices and stop following youtube buzzwords like "good" "best" "worst" ending and shit like that.

I got the "worst" ending in Blood and Wine and I still don't feel like my mistakes were wrong, I don't feel bad about them for one bit.

There is nothing wrong with that hairstyle
Fight me

Why are you lying to me?
Seriously, you're pathetic.

I misclicked on the "play snowball fight/drink your sorrows out" part and didn't reload because I didn't think such a tiny decision was that important.

ded bad dad

Look it up you fucking retard.

>Ciri and Geralt both dying horrible deaths
>not a bad ending

Yeah no, there are distinct differences that make the endings good or bad. Its not just about muh youtube labels.

kaer morhen, laboratory, grave, lodge, ciri mission, wyzima
look it up

>lel just accept the worst possible ending you got mane it's alright
fuck off dude
that shit was unnecessarily hardcore, and to find the reason why sucks even more

Enjoy your worst ending where you did everything wrong, fags

what happened in the ending? This game was too awful to get 10 hours through it.

Congratulations, cdpr, you made me quit your game with one cheap enemy. Yet again showing that, better than anyone else in the industry, you understand anti-fun.

Ciri and Geralt both die

This happens if you make choices contrary to what Ciri wants, so agreeing with her 100% of the time even if you don't want to, will get you the best ending.

ciri dies, broken shell of a man aka geralt dies
What enemy? Drowners or wolves? top kek

>replaying the Witcher trilogy
>spare Letho at the end of Witcher 2
>import my last save in Witcher 3
>Letho doesn't appear near the manor
Is this bugged or something? I loaded my last save file.

what the fuck ending did you get where Geralt dies, mate?

It's only Ciri that sacrifices herself or not. I don't see how any of those endings are bad.

yet people still complain when they say that your choices don't matter and now look at this bullshit, crying because you don't like the outcome of the shitty path you put yourself on.

I bet you're even a Trissfag.

Reminds me of when i begun playing the witcher 3 and there are those zones you got to clear of monsters, there was this one altar in front of a road that you had to clear, and i had this bug where they never spawned so i couldnt never 100% that area

the female spectre things that are cheap as fuck and unfun

literally the least fun enemy ive ever fought against in a game

specifically the special one jenny o the woods made me quit the game because she is impossible to beat even several levels above her unless you are willing to play a 30 minute fight which i am not doing.

CDPR doesn't understand game design.

The worst ending has Geralt die in the Ladies of the Woods' hut.
Educate thyself

You are fucking autistic if you don't see how it's a bad ending.

Also I'm a Yenfag and the only reason I'm whining is because ONE choice led me to it, my point is that there should be more factors on how the ending gets decided.

>yet people still complain when they say that your choices don't matter and now look at this bullshit, crying because you don't like the outcome of the shitty path you put yourself on.

>Sup Forums is one person

Not that the choice system is any better. Having to agree with Ciri in literally everything or she outright dies is retarded.

have u tried Yrden sign? It's ez fight, cast sign wait for her to enter, attack few times,roll/dodge kill illusions, back to step one. It's even easier if you make spectre oil or moon dust

yeah she's a cunt

I beat her at lvl 12 but it was not fun at all

It's what you get for being an overbearing helicopter dad

Are you me? It means we suck at parenting. I also suck at dating tho since i fucked both girls

he sits in the cabin while some monsters swarm him and I bet my ass you can still continue the game after getting that ending

he doesn't die, mate.

It's mostly bittersweet because he returns to get her necklace and not like Ciri sacrificed herself for nothing.

Even more so, I feel that her "sacrifice" loses all it's value if she's still there and kicking. It feels like it had no risk to it and she's just protected by plot armor.

Now if the plot armor kicks in because of your choices or not, that's another thing, but neither of the ending is "the bad/evil/worst ending". Stop using buzzwords, we're not on Google SEO.

Ya dun guffed OP

By following standard RPG choice rules m8

youtube.com/watch?v=76DgDi-O314

1min start
5min tldr

Tell me what you guys think of this

I don't know.
I picked the options that I found most suitable in my opinion, for example calming her down in the laboratory instead of smashing everything.

Its stupid really. Almost everyone, Ciri included touts that she is this mature independent woman who can handle herself - but the game requires you to agree with EVERYTHING in order to get the best out of it.

I love how Gaunter O'dimm deliberately rewards you with how to get the best ending

youtube.com/watch?v=j3oGWhfVku4#t=3m15s

just take back from isle of mist save and choose good end. i did that way.

>he doesn't die, mate.
You can continue the game because not being able to would have rustled a lot of feathers among players.
If he actually survives it, then its not only the bad ending but the worst one quality wise too. He loses both his swords while killing the Crone and you want me to believe he still makes it out?

yeah because signs sure aren't OP as all fuck.

He could easily make it out no problem.

nice analysis actually
