As you all know, one of the most clear-cut (yet far-off) goals for physics is to unify the two main "realms" of physics - quantum mechanics (hmmm, Shroedinger equation?) deals with the very small, and general relativity (hmmm, Schwarzchild radius?) deals with the very large/massive.
