Be honest niggers, have you ever bought a remastered game? & how much do you regret it?

Be honest niggers, have you ever bought a remastered game? & how much do you regret it?

I bet I can make Skyrim without an ENB look better. I am actually gonna go try. Thanks OP, you gave me something to do

>skyrim on console
>skyrim at all

All the time. And that's not even including the digital ones

Yes, I only buy GOTY/complete/remastered versions.

>Buying new games

>ffx ffx-2

I've had a blast replaying them. Too bad they fucked up the music though.

>MGSV TPP without ground zeroes
Why do people keep doing this?

I own that on 360 and PC.

I'm hyped to get af for Skyrim remaster.

i did for tomb raider, cause i never played it

i did for metro for the same reason.

so no i did not regret buying upgraded versions of games I was playing for the first time.

I only buy remasters if I skipped the originals

Bought Okami for ps2... Never finished it

Bought Okami hd on PS3... Still haven't finished it

I bought the Last of Us remastered for $20 because I didn't have a ps3, I know Sup Forums hates it but I really enjoyed it. I also got the Uncharted bundle with my ps4 which was quite a bit of fun as well. As long as they put in a bit of effort toward remastering it rather than just upping the texture the results usually look pretty close to games developed for the current gen

It was a PS+ game.

Just Serious Sam I & II. Very pretty games.

I got this when I first got a PS3 a couple years ago. I was never able to find Ico, but I played SotC when I was a kid. I don't regret my decision at all, the remastered game doesn't chug at 15fps like the original, so I can actually appreciate the game more for what it is.

I got both remasters of Metro 2033 and Last Light. I don't regret it at all as I never owned the original games.

I never played the originals, worth picking up if I can get it cheap?

They're fun if you have other people to play with. If you don't you should probably pass on them.

Yep, gtav and i probably have like 2000+ hours from the online alone by now.

Its not exactly hard to do, they just bumped it up to make it "acceptable" for ps4/xbone. DESU im kinda excited because x32 skyrim crashes all the fucking time and fallout 4 rarely ever does so a x64 skyrim is ok with me since I get it free.

It looks worse than the original games to be honest

Closest I bought was the Final Fantasy 1 + 2 game on GBA. Don't regret it because I hadn't played either and I got it for like 15 bucks.

2 was shit. Used Mithril weapons for like the entire fucking game despite getting them in the second town.

I bought the remastered Dishonored and don't regret it because I love that game and want to support them.

I thought 2 was okay. I liked it more than 1, but I wouldn't want to replay it.

I got the first one at a pawn shop for 3 bucks and I still want my money back. It's nothing but fetch missions.

I don't think I ever bought a remaster of something I already have. I did pirate some HD trilogies on PS3 though.

I bought Homeworld Remastered Collection for $10 when it was on sale. Came with 4 games, the original Homeworld games and the Remastered ones. I got them during the Christmas sales, so needless to say the Multiplayer was dead from being broken as fuck, but otherwise it was a decent game. The AI wasn't too broken, and the Campaign only had a few rough spots, but I pulled through nicely. With 2.0 out, I don't regret my decisions at all.

Remasters work sometimes, user.

>n word in the first post
What's with all the casual racism on this board?

SotC+Ico and ZoE+ZoE2

Don't regret it as those 4 games are pretty rare to find on their own.

Only for Odin Sphere, and it also reworked the gameplay entirely for the better, so it wasn't that bad of a purchase.

But Enbs arent 1 fps. Evertime you play wiyh one

Does Dragons Dogma pc count? Because its a huge upgrade and I love it.

Will anything be improved besides the graphics?

its on the updated version of the engine, so mods will need updated I believe BUT less crashes, better performance, no vram issuses, maybe new tech like the advanced debris in fallout 4 but i doubt it.

>Silent Hill HD Collection
:(

They fucked up hard

Wild Arms Alter Code F
> An actual remaster
> Only disappointed because I expected Wild Arms 3

Same here, this is the only remastered version of a game I've bought, and after playing both versions on the ps2, it was well worth the $15 dollars.

halo 1 remastered was the only time I had fun replaying something I've already played 1000 times before, except for that TERRIBLE MC model. like, what the fuck was up with his proportions? how did they fuck up that bad on one single thing?

MGS HD.

Not a bit. I didn't get to play them for PS2 so I played them on 360 and enjoyed the fuck out of them.

I bought Gravity Rush for PS4 and it was great.

I don't think there's any reason not to buy a remaster over the original version if you've never played the game before.

>Hitman HD
I am an absolute sucker for every Hitman game (except Absolution), and at the time Contracts wasn't on Steam, I got it for like 30 dollars with a gift card, worth it.

>Ico & Shadow Of the Collosus
I'd never actually played either of these because I was an Xbox fag growing up, but heard great things. Got them when I got a PS3 and had an absolute blast.

MGS Legacy Collection
>Had played 2 & 3 at various points of my childhood, this came out the year I bought my PS3 and since I didn't own any of them, I had to jump on it.

Ratchet and Clank HD
>Again, former Xbox fag, really enjoyed all 3 games, felt good to enjoy a platformer again.

>Splinter Cell HD
Only owned the first and Double Agent, bought this around the same time as Hitman, fantastic choice on my part imo, am considering playing these again really soon.

Totally fucked up my greentexting there, oh well.

I bought DMC4:SE for PC and the skin DLC that comes with Trish's Gloria costume.

At least I'm erect.

I bought beyond good and evil HD, its fine I guess never finished tho'

bought RE4 HD last week and I have the MGS pack and the SotC+ICO
I have bought some old games on steam wich can't even run on current shit anymore so that was kind of a waste.
