Quake's weapons are alright and the enemy design is good without needing two dozen different mook types, carried by fantastic level design that makes great usage of compact 3d spaces without resorting to backtracking mazes or wall-humping.

There has been absolutely no information about in which ways the characters will be classed, literally all we know is that visor has wallhacks, ranger has a teleport, and memegirl has a different teleport

Why don't we add proper movement skills and better game modes and flexibility for larger and more interesting gametypes and combiine them with bigger maps and better ideas than hoarding spawns?

Asymmetrical abilities actually sound like they could be interesting if done properly, and it's only a problem if the skillset is limited to begin with, as it IS in Team Fortress and Overwatch and whatever shitty loadout game all the kiddies are playing.
