games have artistic things about them, the animations, music,and stories and all of that is art. But the complete package is not art because it can not be experienced objectively by people.

when you look at a picture or listen to a song you are experiencing it objectively the same as everybody else and have a subjective interpretation of it

in a game since the objective experience will vary so wildly between people it can not be art.
