You won't get subs in the very beginning no matter how much exposure you get. You need to build up a library of good content before people will be interested in seeing if you can keep it up. So try not to get too discouraged early on.
These threads don't really help, sorry, just the facts. If you post on social media, you'll just look like a shill fag. Best thing is to find a niche, then find a forum that caters to that specific niche (NOT NEOFAG) and get involved with that community while dropping vids here and there. Don't drive by shill and go to the community just for plugs, people aren't stupid they can see through that shit.

bad idea. You're going to be drowned out by more popular channels. No one's going to find your videos. Go for it, but that's what's going to happen. Look up RE7 in youtube and look at the viewcounts of what pops up on the first page. It's very early but you already missed the boat. I would say even if you pumped out a quick video that night you still wouldn't have a chance, the game is too popular to begin with, no one new is going to break out with it.
This is why you need to carve out your own niche that no one else is doing. When everyone's going right, go left. Later if you build a fanbase you can try your hand at more popular stuff and see if you get any traction.

Basically just a place for anons to have a nice hub for their content that isn't tumblr.
