>realize that there is no perfect MMO right now
>cry
did you just watch SAO or something and get an MMO boner? genres dead.
final
fantasy
14
You will not be dissapoint
Tried it and it sucks cock.
>2.5 GCDS
>Whole game is filled with Go from B to C then back to A quests
>Having to do irrelevant content to reach new content
ehh, I got hooked the minute I started, plus it has anime cat grills
and not to mention I play black mage so the cooldown ends by the time I cast
I just want an MMO with a good Summoner class
plis help Sup Forums
DFO
Trove
I mean a more classic style MMO, not like DFO.
You play Project Gorgon and then cry when it inevitably fails
Vindictus
When I get the urge I just play the Sword Art Online game on PS4. Has all the good and bad things about MMO's. Boss Raids are surprisingly fun.
ffxiv has a healer summoner and a dps summoner
I haven't tried them though, so I can't give you a gould statement on whether or not they're good
that game is kill
sh-shut up! We can play with yuropoors now!
Do they at least have a wide variety of summons, not just like 1-5 summons?
If you want the grindin part, play something similar but isnt held back by shitty MMO limitations. Like MH, DD, Souls, Diablo-likes, Rogue-likes, ect
If you want the social part you're basically fucked. Social gaming is dead if you dont have friends.
Whatever the fuck you do dont touch actual MMOs.
Game seems pretty shitty desu, Why are you even playing it?
for the girls
I learned this the hard way, Literally every MMO nowadays is either pure p2w shit or chink bot pools.
Like I said, I haven't played as the summoners, but from what I've seen, everyone only uses like 3 on each class.
Then it's a shit summoner class.
We all learn it the hard way
So many hours wasted
Well, not even close to an MMO but TW Warhammer is pretty fun as a necromancer.
Sending in armies of zombies and skeletons to crush those pesky flesh bags
Fuck I miss Age of Reckoning.
SIGMAR SAVES THOSE WHAT SAVE THEMSELVES!
Not quite what im looking for, thanks though.
oh user, do I have a surprise for you
returnofreckoning.com
SIGMAR BLESS YOU!
Isn't that server dead?
Bdo
Lost song? The auto aim is fucking horrendous. Using the bow is such shit. They fucked that game up
i quench my by playing a grindy game
elona+ is my mmo right now
i would be playing something like disgaea but only if 4 and beyond gets ported to steam because i already play the shit out of 1 to 3
How buggy is it?
>30$ game with micro transactions and P2W "end-game"
nty
It's got 800 players daily
The "devs" have also hinted at adding new content in addition to getting reckoning back on
Get some taste.
Gee, devout of Sigmar, why does your god let you have TWO hammers?
Funny user. That games the least P2W mmo right now.
I typically go back to Guild Wars 2. Level up a new character or something, and the irge will have sated itself.
If that fails, force yourself to play a few hours of EverQuest, although that is aimed more specifically at killing nostalgia than anything else.
Depends on what you're looking for. Need more input OP.
and you, brother
nah, its not massive but there is at least a few hundred people on at any given time
its a lot better now, far from perfect but less buggy than some actual mmos
>BDO
>MMO
its a single player game. a great one but still a single player game. more mmos should vcopy BDO's day night cycle
Which game do I pick to look cute in a dress?
Elder Scrolls Online
I'd agree its not p2w its pay for convenience that, trust me you really want/pay for a "small" boost over other players. not that I'm complaning, I enjoyed the game and had no problems spending money even though the cash shop prices are fucking absurd.
You sit down, preferably with some family, and talk your problems through. The era is dead and you have to progress through the 5 stages of death. May I propose mediation or possibly contacting your local church. We have all been through it and I promise you will make it.
Might as well play neverwinter. Or ff14. Those are the only mmos that don't feel like single player
I played Black Desert for two months and that made me never want to play another MMO ever again because of how much of a waste of time and money it was
Entropia.
DFO.
Talking about MMOs.
neverwinter is trash and I could never get in to ARR, the game itself seems fine but I really dislike final fantasy.
The weight limit really is a big difference but compared to other mmos and the jewness of their shop I really have no problem paying for some extra convenience. I could also work for it really which is great having the option
I've been playing on the server for about a year and couple of months already and I have to say the server's been steadily increasing and BOOMING with people more than ever since the massive influx of WFB games recently from Vermintide, Mordheim, Total War Warhammer and upcoming Man O' War Corsairs.
Entropia is literally the definition of P2W and Pay to have fun.
Wildstar is free to play now and on Steam. It was created from the old WoW team that did Vanilla, and it's on par with the newer WoW expacs in terms of tricking you into thinking you're not grinding.
It's for double the purging.
TFW no mmo that would let you create QT followers
The thing with wildstar for me was the narrator itself. It was pretty funny at first the comic book style humor but it got old. Fast.
Atlantica lets you make a party of NPCs
SWTOR
>Quench my thirst for MMOs
Don't. It's like drinking sea water.
I fucking love Wildstar, but it's so toaster-unfriendly that I can't play.
Not that there was a lot I could do as soon as I hit maxlevel.
>CUPCAKE!
>CUPCAKE!
>CUPCAKE!
>NICE GOING CUPCAKE!
>WHOAAA THERE CUPCAKE!
>HOLY @! CUPCAKE!
Buy a month of any current MMO burn yourself out on whatever content is there and remind yourself why you uninstalled in the first place
and the taxi, and protostar, pretty much all the humor was a miss
Really they just needed to dial it back it was okay in small doses
It's a real shame about WildStar because the elves with tails were really sexy
Aurin are a menace that must be purged from this universe
DOUBLE KILL!
UBER KILL!
Were they trying to be tongue in cheek, or did they actually think this is how all the cool kids were talking?
If only Rappelz pets and pet classes were in literally any other game.
FFXI
>can cashout
My hope is that they were being ironic with that but you can never really tell with this game
they have 3 summons (unless the DLC added one) and they really function as pets in traditional MMOs, you don't even really pay attention to them.
Summoner in ARR=mage with pet.
Go to a farm and buy all the cow shit you can find then eat it
it was so pretty, but it's amazing how little that matters when there's literally no endgame or reason to use groups.
the game itself is trash, you'd have to be an ff fan to enjoy it
He's got the right idea.
>H
you can play it now private server exist now.
I've been wanting to play some Ragnarök Online again (was the first MMO I ever played).
Is it still worth it with Nostalgia feels?
Also is there an easy way to set up an offline server for yourself? I don't trust pservers anymore after Nostalrius has forsaken me
is there anything around now like old UO or am I better off just playing on private shards?
I've tried that before and while it was a lot of fun, it felt like the server was full of experts who had been there quite awhile. I was able to remember quite a bit and was able to look shit up but I still felt pretty gimped. That and everyone seemed to have like 7 characters afk doing shit.
I'm cautiously hopeful for things like Crowfall, Chronicles of Elyria, Repopulation - and some others. They could turn out to be shit but they sound ok so far.
Just want an actual world to explore, meet friends/enemies, and do whatever the fuck I want to, even if it's really stupid and I die a lot.
It feels strange that there hasn't been an updated UO or SWG as far as "modern" mmos. i'd suppose that it's not considered profitable enough but I think a lot of people want to feel immersed in a world that they can change.
