Ok, Sup Forums, you are a bunch of retards but you also know your stuff.
Tell me, what's the best controller to have plugged to a PC?

Tell me, what's the best controller to have plugged to a PC?
The ps3 one.
Also that's a joystick.
Whatever you prefer.
One that works.
I would like an Xbox One controller but fuck no wireless capabilities
I need a Bluetooth dongle for those, right?
whichever one you like, you can use anything.
a flight stick
No, I just use the USB and Joy2key program.
You need to do fucking black magic to get the dualshock 3 working
Comfiest choice.
Wait for the new Xbox One controllers, they have bluetooth.
>DS3
>Good.
Exquisite b8.
Xbox 360 with a wire. Works with every game, doesn't need to be charged. And unlike a PS controller, button displays are right in games (ABXY) and the joysticks aren't retartedly placed.
why is that pillow so terrified?
a gamecube controller :)
While it's comfy, no left shoulder button, no select button, no joystick "buttons".
I remember these.
All of these.
I forget how the buttons were though.
Good? Bad? Mushy? clicky?
Nah, fuck that, at least use the superior version.
Do you really want to know?
The XBox One Elite Controller.
But then again, it's also the best controller I ever held in my hands.
What's bad about it? Works fine to me.
xbox 360 wired
I have all systems and a steam controller btw.
(you)
This one
...
enjoy that d-pad
True story.
>Works with every game
oblivion doesn't work with it and the mods for it are awful. i'm sure there are many other games that don't work that came before GFWL came and made native 360 controller support a standard.
Maybe it's better on pc, but someone here convinced me to buy this for ps3 and it was fucking unplayably bad. At least two full seconds of input lag.
xbox 360 controller has pretty much full compatibility. I prefer to use the gamecube one (with the adapter) when I can though.
Enjoy that joystick. Enjoy using a program to make your controller work.
>Oblivion
does wii or wii u pro controller work on pc? because those are the only modern controllers with good dpads, which are only useful for meme indie games or emulators in the first place.
>i'm sure there are many other games that don't work that came before GFWL came and made native 360 controller support a standard.
i highlighted the important part for you since you seem to be special.
Mouse and keyboard.
Or a custom controller for you specific needs.
DS4. Excluding the stupid touchpad that I only use to move the mouse out of the way.
HOTAS
DS3 with a cord (haven't tried bluetooth) + xinput wrapper
The DS3 is recognized as a 360 controller so there is no bullshit
For modern games, I use an Xbox One controller if I really need something other than a keyboard and mouse.
Oblivion's controller support is shit. And
>i'm sure there are many other games that don't work that came before GFWL came
Is this bait? This applies to every controller. What are you talking about? If the game wasn't intended to be played with a controller and only programmed for mouse and keyboard, of course it doesn't work without an external program. Jesus Christ.
