Overall I really like actual content of the game, but I honestly can't see why so many people just look past its performance issues. It can't even keep a stable 30 fps which is absolutely terrible.

I feel the opposite. The Souls series has consistently bad framerates, but its gameplay somehow does not suffer as much as other games'.
However, Bloodborne has somewhat disappointing content when compared to Souls. Very unique weapons and interesting design all around, but somewhat linear progression and lacking side content.
Since DaS wasn't ported to PC for a long time and even then it had issues, I and a lot of people played first on console.
DeS is also on console.
The fact Bloodborne isn't 60 FPS doesn't really bother many people who have been fans of the series for a long time.
I prefer 60 FPS, but unless it's a shooter or racer or something in the same vein, it's not that big of a deal.
Not to start a consolewars thread but I'm pretty sure it has something to do with it being exclusive to PS4. Usually console players don't care much about stable framerates as much as the game itself I found.
Whether it's because they're "casual" or because they can have more fun I don't know. Maybe they're both the same thing.
>lacking side content
Actually compared to DS3, BB is relatively diverse in side areas. There's quite a lot of optional places to go. Moreso than DS3 for sure.
It can't even maintain 30. Hell it goes below 20 at times. Feels like I'm watching a slideshow.
>one year later and PC friends still make false flagging 30 fps Bloodborne threads
Sad desu
I'm an idort so I feel fully qualified to shit on it.
The performance is really the standout flaw to be sure. It's a big blemish on what is otherwise pretty much a flawless game.
If they could make Bloodborne run at a stable 60fps on PS4 Neo, even if they had to knock down the resolution a bit. If would be a 10/10 game of the decade contender.
I've never had it be that bad.
I've had DaS3 perform very poorly at times though, far worse than BB.
I only ask it ran at stable 30.
How does it feel to be autistic?
inb4 muh standards
>i shit on things on an anonymous Chinese anime board
Sad desu
It's a FUN GAME, it's not like it's ever unplayably bad. At this point I feel it's just people nitpicking at it because they need something to whine about.
As long as it isn't a Nintendo game, bad framerate, terrible hitboxes, and gamebreaking bugs are just charming features.
Don't ever play Demon's Souls.
I don't remember fps drops on Bloodborne.
Even that area with fire and peasant runs fine for me.
I think it's a great game, the biggest issue with it is the framerate.
And shit pvp.
The PvP itself is leagues better than the shit DaS3 turned into. Shame about the invading system.
I think your PS4 might be ill.
I never had any noticable FPS drops.
>The leagues better than the shit DaS3 turned into
No.
>Thoughts Sup Forums?
I'm not autistic so i can still enjoy a game even if it has 29 fps
>can't punish estus
>literal 1 hit builds becoming the meta
>can roll around non stop with immunity while waiting to summon players to save you
The PvP in DaS3 is garbage.
Git gud.
It'll play better on PS4.5.
Huh...
Yeah, I guess so. There's only really two optional paths that are relatively hidden in Dark Souls, while there's quite a few in Bloodborne. And if you really fuck with things and fight against the odds, you can sequence break something fierce in BB.
However, there's no real character quests, and covenants are barebones. Multiplayer is awkward and has few incentives.
What's there to "gid gud" at? The PvP has absolutely no depth. Sup Forums was bitching about dying to R1 spammers for weeks after release.
>Bloodborne pvp
>any more depth than spamming r1/l2 and popping blood vials
Why are you so fixed on defending DS3 and attacking BB anyway? Don't tell me you're salty because you don't have PS4.
Not him but, confirmed for never playing bloodborne, you cant just pop a vial like you chug in dark souls, you will get your shit kicked in by a visceral attack
I wouldn't know how shit the pvp is if I didn't.
>you cant just pop a vial like you chug in dark souls
Yeah, it's easier since it takes only half a second.
>popping blood vials
Yeah, no.
The point is that you can punish healing in BB and get an easy visceral.
Stop with this meme. It's so easy to avoid getting "punished".
Nice rebuttal, retard.
>has no more arguments so resorts to name calling
I win.
