I still like the idea of physical copies but playing mostly PC i cant really talk.

Physical because shitty internet and I don't want to spend 12 hours downloading a game.

Depends. On PC full digital because convenience and the fact that a lot of physical copies are just steam downloads in a box.

I game share with a buddy of mine on ps4 so I always try to spring for digital copies unless I know he won't play it, in which case I get a physical copy.

Any other console I try and go for physical copy unless it would be too inconvenient.

I don't know if it's true or not, but I feel like downloading digital games on a console or handheld would slow down or otherwise hamper the performance of the machine.
Please tell me if I'm stupid and wrong.

Physical always. They cost the same at digital. Digital gives you a limited amount of downloads.
Physical can have nice box art and you can share easier with friends.

Physical for anything other than PS4, Xbone, or PC post-2012-ish or whenever PC actually started picking up steam (pun not intended). Physical becomes pointless on these three unless it's an LE.

Both. I like buying digital if it's something I know I will love and play often. That way, it's always loaded on the console and I don't need to swap discs or cartridges.

When im not sure of a game and want the option of reselling it, or when there are physical collectibles attached to the release, that's when I might buy physical.

Prefer physical. But buy digital if good discounts or I can't be bothered to wait for a game to arrive with mail

Large RAID1 HDD setup where you store all your pirated vidya.
Never obsolete, no space problems even with 3000 games on it, independent from internet and some company's influence, safe from physical disk error.

Digital is pretty much the only way to play most PC games.

When given the option though like with my 3DS, while I like the convenience of digital games, physical copies make me a lot less paranoid.
