Yeah, it's great. Better than the first in almost every way.
Prepare for disappointment when you finish it and realize no Darksiders 3.

Darksiders 1 was great. I enjoyed Darksiders 2 less, because even though the scope was much wider, the game just felt a little less polished and deep overall.
The music and art direction in DS2 are fucking fantastic though. For $12 I'd say its completely worth it.

I fucking hated darksiders 2 after liking 1. When i'm playing a single player game, i don't want fucking random MMO loot, i don't wanna hoard a billion pieces of equipment with fucking 50 stats using decimals. Lousily designed game, avoid.

Basically what the new Zelder is going to be but with more linearity and heavier theme.

it's not bad
it's also not anything impressive, that you will want to play again or that you will remember for a long time
solid 6 or 7. it's enjoyable, will last you around 20 hours if you take a bit of time to find stuff and then you won't ever play it again
