The average person will get 40-50 hours out of zelda if even that and never play it again.
One game no matter how good(which is subjective considering it is not innovating or changing anything and merely catching up to games with interesting physics like Just Cause and Far Cry and open worlds like skyrim or tw3) does not win E3.

Sometimes I forgot why I hate IGN, and things like this make me remember why.

This, what the fuck man. They set the bar so low and still had the best showing of the big three. It's not even because Zelda was exceptionally good, just because every newly announced exclusive from Sony and MS was trash. How the fuck does something like this even happen? Every year it gets worse and worse and I don't see how it could get even more ridiculous and yet it keeps happening.

Except Nintendo's newly announced exclusives were objectively the worst because they didn't fucking show any.

RE 7 looked good and having Kojima back and working on something weird again is really nice. They didn't look like the best things ever, but they were new and worth getting excited about.

We know about Pokemon and we know about Zelda. I was excited for them when they got announced but the stuff they showed didn't make me any more excited. It was about what I expected.

Did you see the trailer for it? It actually looks great and much different from previous games. Also space combat.

They announced Ever Oasis and a new mario party.

If Zelda was truly impressive looking, I'd agree Nintendo won E3. But it doesn't for an open world game that's being released in 2017. This is coming from a Zelda fan that's been with the series since the original NES game.

Yes, it's nice Nintendo is trying to unfuck the series. I'm not going to blindly praise it.
