I really do not know if I would enjoy it nearly as much without the eurobeat, but the races were pretty good on their own. Just do not expect some great story or good characters or good animation.

It shines the brightest during those racing autism moments fueled by the soundtrack where you wish you had a pedal under your foot right fucking now.

Ryosuke is too hard and I cant understand the mechanics for speed while drifting. sometimes Ill take a turn going like 160 and be just fine, while Ill take a very similar turn at a slightly slower speed and derail.

I linked the latest alpha in the post above you. The driving physics have changed so much that it feels like a completely different game. also there's new cars and a new test track. They say they're gonna hit early access later this year but I can't see that happening considering how slow they've been so far. Try it if you want

Drifting through racing lines works better in some occasions though

Soft edges due to blending the values of neighboring pixels also textures get blurrier due to mip mapping. Basically play any PS1 and then N64 game to see the difference between no filtering and texture filtering.

Grid 2 sucks compared to the first. Cant turn off certain features to make cars habdle better. Cant even drift properly, its some arcadey bullshit.
