Great Ace Attorney not localized due to "circumstances"

>Will we ever get a localized version of Daigyakuten Saiban?

>Eshiro: Unfortunately there's a number of circumstances... We absolutely do want to bring it to the West, but unfortunately due to these circumstances right now... I'm really really sorry! Nowadays on the Internet lots of fans are directly asking us, "Where's Daigyakuten Saiban?" On livestreams, even in the Japanese ones, people from the West will write in and ask where it is. Every time we say, we're sorry! Certain circumstances are kind of getting in the way.

Probably both.

>Americans wouldn't be able to function if they found out other cultures and countries actually exist. It'd be chaos

Fan translation when?

At least now that game injection is a thing, a fan translation is possible

TAKUMI IS HOLDING IT HOSTAGE CONFIRMED

Incomplete, but at least they're working on it.

Well, I'm not buying AA6 due "circumstances" then, no worries, Capcom :)

>Gamespot

If it's anything like AAI2 it should only be several years.

realy makes you think...

Let me sum it up for everyone:

Phoenix is not on the cover so gaijins won't buy the game.

It probably wouldn't be able to pass burger censorship so that there's a scrap of the game left.

I mean, americans would still buy it and defend the censorship, but Europeans wouldn't.

>It's localized in the American civil war during the immigration boom

that's not a circumstance, footfag

Now I won't feel bad for pirating SoJ.

Thanks, Capcom.

Oh no a boner
I don't like feet but that Athena...

Can't blame them, AA has never broken a mil in sales. Meanwhile Monster Hunter sells 2 million copies in japan alone in under a week.

Oh shit my dick

>Phoenix isn't on the cover
Yeah, just a guy who looks like him with the same name in the same trademark pose

Spin-off AAs don't sell well period, see PLvsAA which had Phoenix in it for example

Sherlock Holmes copyright.

Sherlock Holmes is public domain idiot

Do you have any evidence to back that up?

it's the casual racism, isn't it?

Fucking SJW, they won.

The west buys "Phoenix Wright", not "Ace Attorney"

And what are you even talking about? Layton vs Wright was the 3rd best selling AA game.

Kek, same here

...

Apparently they're not localizing everything like the AAI2 fan-translation team did. This doesn't automatically mean the translation will be shit but it makes me a little wary.

Apparantly most of the cases in it feel pretty incomplete/overly quick?

Bump of disappointment

>he'll buy it anyway
Dumb cuck.
