I still want a battle network game with online connectivity for net battles. I was never pushed to make a legitimately good folder in the games or do the extra work to make them more uniform.

>get me and a friend starforce 3
>grab that random missile chip and set it as my primary chip or whatever it was called
it took him forever to get the reflexes to not die turn one every single game.

2 > 3 > 6 > 1 > 5 > BCC > 4

O B J E C T I V E T R U T H

I decided that I'm going to replay the BN and SF games starting from the beginning. I just bought a copy of BN1. I'm looking forward to this. Hopefully there'll be threads around while I'm playing the games.

>Fire Field
>Final Transmission
>Rockman exe 4.5 battle medley
>SURGE OF POWER

I absolutely loved the idea of MegaMan NT Warrior that I even started buying the manga/graphic novels from fucking Viz when I was a teenager, but I never once finished a game. Like, any of them, and I'm sure I tried 90% of them.

All of then suck except for Running Through the Cyberworld. It's like universal rule that official remixes need to be 99% terrible and miss the point of the original songs.

Also, why is Serenade on the cover? He was a secret boss who exists in only one game and doesn't even matter to the plot.

>spamming shit waifus
>new threads after old ones on same day
>no new vidya content
Take this shit to /my/ or /vg/ faggots.
Sage to make these threads good again.

did they ever get meta and explain the shit with battle chips or did they just leave it as lol gameplay mechanic.

What's with this all posts with no quotes.

This isn't my usual comfy BN thread.

then reply to someone you dumb faggot.
what caused you to drop them?

I want to say repetition caused me to drop them, but honestly, I don't know. I think I just found something else to play and completely forgot about them. Although I do recall recently going back into Starforce and not knowing what the fuck was going on.

They're great games, but I think I enjoyed the anime/manga way more than the actual games.

>dolphinman.exe

Roll > Pride > Mayl > other girls > Yai

>inadvertently caused a friend to start playing the games

Hopefully telling them to start with 2 was the correct course of action.

>starting with 2
I hope that faggot gets stuck with aquaguts.
like I did

probably, if I'm not mistaken 1 is a lot rougher than memory serves

Fuck off asshole. No there's not?

>Surge of Power
>Main theme of 6 kicks in near the end
>Remember that the series is dead and will never return
>Realizing it's best it stays dead
>Remembering old days of playing with friends, battling, having competitions, and generally just talking and having fun with the games while trying out new folders and strategies

I should have never listened to this soundtrack.

>finally get an S rank against that group of viruses you want the chips out of
>You got: 300 Zennys!

>literally heard the jap rockman exe animu opening for the first time in my life during the stream
>tears in my fucking eyes, holy shit this is good
>I missed out on that all these years for this shitpile

Fucking take me back to the past, please

At least we got Star Force.

>2 first
You...youse my nigga

Star Force was good. Once I accepted it was a spiritual successor, I let go and enjoyed it.

Never played the others though, because I just didn't really get into it like I did with BN. The 3D part honestly just didn't mesh well with me.

>not having searcheye equipped

I mean if you were after the octoballoon viruses in BN2 I feel you

The one good factor about the change in perspective was that enemies couldn't stab you in the ass. Also, perma-quick-shield and perma-step-in abilities were fucking great once you got the hang of them. Finally made me feel like I was on-par with protoman's bullshit.

Where's pepipopo recent Mayl drawing from today's streams?

Thank you user. Although I've only played the first one (I should play them and actually finish them all) I still get goosebumps of nostalgia every now and then from the first one. I kinda missed out the more I listen to this incredible album.

Finally have something to do while I'm on rides and waiting around

>quarters
Wut.

It's a tiny controller

he's got hamhands so he needs them for extra surface area

Use retroarch you dumb fuck

Seems like a lot of work, I'm too lazy to even bother with GNU/Linux

>Okay what story do we need for our sci-fi RPG for children?
>I dunno, how about DARKNESS
>Genius, you're hired

and bugs, kids like bugs

all things considered it's pretty par for the course in terms of storytelling in japan

Frankly 2 provided all the QoL changes and polish 1 needed, such as seeing the fucking chip code on the thumbnail and darking out ineligible chips.

>Nebula Gray is by far the stupidest final boss
>best theme though
