Metal Gear Solid 3 is the most praised game in Sup Forums
It's a good game.
Yup it's pretty great.
hated it, no one cares about that retard big boss, mgs4 was better than this trash
I thought it was planet of torment? Sup Forums loved that game so much
Was okay.
Camo index swapping every second was retarded.
If anybody understood the plot they would probably hate it. MGS gets by because nobody understands what's going on but everybody is too embarrassed to admit it.
That's because it was the last great metal gear game
First time I played MGS2 I thought it was being intentionally campy and I loved it. I treated MGS3 the same way and found it very enjoyable.
>MGS gets by because nobody understands what's going on but everybody is too embarrassed to admit it.
This
>Hur Der I don't understand metal gear
>Everyone mustn't understand it and just praise it because everyone else does
You have to be 18+ to post here
What exactly did you not understand about MGS? It's not like it's fucking Finnegans Wake.
How can you not understand what's going on in MGS3?
You just have to listen to the Boss's speech at the end and she tells everything you need to know bruh
Is it worth getting it on the 3ds?
Yes, yes, well done Snake, well done Snake.
HOWEVER
thats true, the game literally explains the plot to you at the end
But user, MGS3 easily has the most understandable and straightforward plot in the entire Solid series.
Yeah, it still holds up.
I don't know about that but it should be.
The secret is to not try to obsessively keep the maximum amount of camo index every second and instead decide on what is overall best for the area you're in and compensate with better sneaking instead.
MGS3 is extremely easy to follow
you're saying the meme wrong you retard
This is an example of a disguised retard.
Retards who have an intellect on the same level as Facebook users, they just hide it with fancy words and grammar. Smoothtalkers.
not unless you like 15 fps
Shit frame rate but otherwise yeah. Might need the circle pad pro if you don't have a new 3ds
It's the worst looking and running version + the controls are garbage.
You don't get to do much in MGS 3. The bosses were easy ,cut scene after cut scene ,lack of gameplay. But atleast the story was cool because it was the "beginning of everything".It's a nice copy of James Bond
it's a garbage port, like most 3ds ports
>lack of gameplay
Best story and second best gameplay (MGS4)
It actually has a small cutscenes to gameplay ratio in comparison to other MGS games. Which is why I like it because I dont have to listen to that hack Kojima rant about politics
The MGS games overarching plot is pretty convoluted, but if you play the games within memory distance of each other it's easy to figure out what's going on, it's not like KH with a million mixed identities and unexplained occurrences and ridiculous lore and backstories.
But regardless, the internal plots of each game are not convoluted, and MGS3 is the least convoluted..
>MGS4
>best gameplay
Only the first two chapters have actual gameplay to them. The third one is a tailing mission, the fourth is barely stealth since you're just hiding from robots, and the fifth has exactly one stealth section to it and then it's all bosses.
>MGS gets by because nobody understands what's going on but everybody is too embarrassed to admit it.
especially the fanbase for 2 who have deluded themselves into believing that 2 is a masterpiece
>dat all beginning segment
It wasn't MGS4 but it didn't have a low cutscene to gameplay ratio. MGS5 had that and everybody hated it for it.
It's still as experimental as MGS3, though, like how soldiers can get affected by the sound of your Ipod, and the whole emotion bullets. MGS4 also has the best core controls.
If you played MGS4 in its glory days with MGO you can see why people called it best gameplay
not him but it has too little for it to be best gameplay. there's 10x more experimentation in 3 and 2.
you're right about mgo though, and that mgs4's gameplay is good.
>It's still as experimental as MGS3, though, like how soldiers can get affected by the sound of your Ipod, and the whole emotion bullets. MGS4 also has the best core controls.
I'm not denying that. But it doesn't matter how experimental it is if the gameplay drops off the face of the earth after Chapter 2.
The framerate is shitty but the 3DS version has crouch walking and the best controls of any version. Unless you have a circle pad pro or a New 3DS, you have to use the face buttons to aim.
not canon, get the vita version
