I like it.

I actually like it, I feel like most of the homogenization was removed with the class re-works.

But it's unbalanced as fuck and needs fixing before it's official.

Iffy. Doing damage is fun again but losing a fuckton of utility is putting me off.

But the utility was the problem. What's the point of having groups if every class can solo everything?

Specs which feel completely different:

Enhancement Shaman
Discipline Priest
Combat (Outlaw) Rogue
Mistweaver Monk
Blood Death Knight
Survival Hunter

In general two things I find to be common with Legion class design is firstly that there has been a fairly significant ability reduction and secondly there is less of an emphasis on managing resources but instead pressing abilities on a more frequent basis. The specs don’t feel quite as fun to play as the current design but with the artefact this could change. Tank damage is probably the most disappointing thing to come out of these changes as it is absurdly low. I can give specifics about every class specialization if anyone is interested.

Just hopped on ptr for my BM and I fucking love it. I was planning on dropping my sub this month, but now I'm in it for at least another 3 months. Going to take some getting used to with no arcane shot and the new cds, but it feels really nice right now. The mog collection is stellar too.

I'm still not hyped about the story and haven't seen enough of the zones to judge them, but Legion is the first expansion ive ever preordered.

I'm very uneasy about playing a pure DPS class due to artifacts. Until you max out your main artifact, which may take a while due to costs becoming progressively higher, you are gimping yourself by not putting all your points into your main artifact. If you choose the "wrong" spec and invest all your points on its' artifact then you are making a massive mistake. The only viable pure specs will be the well-rounded ones with low ramp-up and decent AoE e.g. Outlaw and Destruction.

wait what, the prepatch is out ? Did the game change

Is that an evil Broken behind Illidan or a weird half-orc/Dranei
