I backed the kickstarter for $100, got a shirt mailed to me and everything and I haven't even filled out the survey for my copy with the bonus downloads.

I'm so detached from the whole thing now. I'm the biggest Mega Man fan I know and all that me or anybody else wanted was another Mega Man game but this shit industry couldn't even give us that.

You're right, but what I'm saying is this is one of the only places that seemed to have anybody at all even the least bit critical of the Kickstarter, even if they were a very small minority.

I personally never cared much for classic Mega Man and didn't feel particularly invested in any of it. I remember being concerned about no gameplay footage and all the nostalgia pandering in the pitch, because I'm extremely critical of all Kickstarters and refuse to back any of them, but I did hope people would get the game they wanted since Capcom appeared to be done with the series.

Really it's hate of Capcom that drove everything and blinded everyone. Inafune sure was one hell of a businessman to strike while that iron was hot.

Perhaps artsy is the wrong word, maybe should have used ambisous instead. I mean Suda 51 is artsy but he gets shit done.

It blew up because she made it look like she was trying to shoehorn her ugly-ass art into the game and that she was only in the project because she was one of the production crew guy's girlfriend, and everyone got riled up because she didn't even play the games or whatever

i can usually see the good side of a lot of things that are considered mediocre or bad but mighty number 9 is just so dissapointing that i don't even want to try it

Comcept just finished up a stream. The entire thing was an awkward affair. The players were dancing around the fact that their game looks terrible. They know they have a turd on their hands.
