>no tomb raider games
missing out

Am I the only who doesn't fucking like vagrant story?
The character design is terrible, the menus are weird, the levels are spaced out with no real reason.
Puzzles are dumb, there's tons of battle repetition with no goal.
Game mechanics are unnecessarily complex and grind.
The aesthetic is weird and doesn't fucking fit together, just look at those atrocious dialogue bubbles, what the fuck were they thinking.
And the story doesn't go anywhere or lands anywhere.

Why do people like this wank of a video game again?
I don't understand, it's just so fucking bad.

MGS is shite

>platformer
Yeah right senpai
What kind of muffins are you smoking?

Kys

Besides from the ones mentioned.

Brave Fencer Musashi.
Castlevania SOTN.
Tekken 3
Street Fighter EX Plus Alpha
Digimon World 1

nah, the game overall but especially controls and the room system is fucking awful.

VS looked fucking AMAZING dude, grind mechanics are very good in a lot of points like monsters wearing random loot or the amazing crafting system, and story is 10/10 for a JRPG

never quite understood their appeal

no u

the only bad thing about the controls is that theres no quick weapon switch

>never quite understood their appeal
slow precision platforming with light puzzle solving, mostly exploration.
the combat is crappy, but it boils down to managing ammo and health kits

>never quite understood their appeal
Good-great platforming (though non-traditional), decent puzzles, great atmosphere, great level design.

I really like Monster Rancher 2, playing it right now actually.

You posted it

>castlevania
