How come CSGO is uglier and worse than CSS

its not

play not even 10 seconds of dust2 in each game to notice that csgo looks 100x better. or look at the hands/gun alone

...

it looks objectively better when it doesn't have brown de_Dust filters

>install skins
>change skin shaders
>change sounds
>download after source maps
>suddenly css is 10x better than csgo

this was 7 years ago by the way

>CS 1.6
>enemies stand out from the packground
>if not playing on dust2 24/7, maps have a wide range of colors
>can install better looking skins or lol xD so randum ones - max customization for everyone

>CS:S
>Shit hitboxes but still can see the enemy team and tell the difference between the two
>Mods were taken even further and skins were available by the thousands, although there were no more lol xD so randum skins available since everyone was trying to go super realistic with their skins thanks to Source Engine

>CS:GO
>brown everywhere
>cant tell the difference between teams at long range
>guns don't feel like they have any kick - Get a headshot with an AK in 1.6 vs CS:GO, it feels like shit in GO
>buying skins
>buying stickers

Some maps look real bad, that's why they remade Nuke and I'm sure that will happen for more maps.

CS:S before bhop nerf was the best cs game prove me wrong

>protip you cant

>cant tell the difference between teams at long range
Go see the doctor.

>CS
>all round based boring bullshit
why

fuck off valve shill

It just has poor lighting. The models and textures are undeniably better.

The lighting is fine, it looks more realistic, CSS was basically anime.

Do Sourcefags look at CSGO the same way 1.5 and 1.6 fags look at Source? I stopped playing when Source came out because I thought the beta was terrible and then when the actual game came out it was still awful.

>buying skins
>buying stickers
Have literally never bought a single skin or sticker and have an inventory worth $4k

Here's the thing: literally everyone who is even slightly good at the game is playing on stretched 4:3 res with 200% saturation lol. So much for "no graphics options will be unlocked for players since everyone needs to have the """"""""""""same""""""""""" experience".

>de_dust
>remove dust
bravo hidden path

Why does CSGO force some post processing effects?

...

Why is CSGO shit?

see

It's chuck full of miserable children who can't play video games for the life of them, and so they just cheat and claim to be good. It's nothing but sad.

might look 100 times better but feels 100 times worse

Big question here what's up with people playing dust2 or dust maps whatever so much to the point of near exclusivity?

or you know, just fuckin' aim well and not be an aspie retard.

cs always had the worst community

The game is fucking painful to play when you are not in a group of 5, and even then only 2 of them try to communicate and use teamwork, people are too used to playing with a "every man for himself" mindset instead of actually trying to cooperate and work together, when teamwork clicks, the game is fantastic but if people aren't cooperating, it just makes me want to kill myself.

The game is about having fun, not about being a selfish cunt that has to look as pro as possible.

every single game that allows players to choose maps, has favorites. it sucks the fun out of the game but some people refuse to play anything else. its the same in quake 3, nothing but campgrounds. same in quake live, nothing but overkill. same in quake 1, nothing but aerowalk. same in even casual shit like battlefield 2 with that one island level. people are scared of new shit. i cant even stomach quake live anymore because if it automatically chooses a new, different level people wont even try it. some fag has callvote campgrounds bound to a key and EVERYONE VOTES YES every single time. most unfun shit, this isn't freedom, i hope there aren't map selections in quake champions

>mfw on a 6 day waiting period because I keep quitting out of Warm-Ups in Competetive
>only one with a microphone
>whenever anyone else on my team as a mic, it's some tween spamming music / lefunnaymaymays

But why do people have these maps as their favorites?

>when teamwork clicks, the game is fantastic but if people aren't cooperating, it just makes me want to kill myself.
Fucking this. The game is amazing when at least you and 3 others are actively communicating during the match but if it's just you and like 1 dude communicating then you might as well just start griefing because everybody else on the team is most likely playing like headless chickens.

Usually because they're the simplest and easiest to learn maps

because they were at one point really fun to play. they are still great maps just overplayed. also

They really are the worst
I had a real gem the other day
>okay guys lets all go sawn off shotties it's gonna be hilarious i've got it recording
>guys what the fuck i said shotties
>no wonder we're losing you fucking cancer scrubs
Then he quit.

i hate "fun"players. i really enjoy the base game, like in team fortress 2, i don't find conga lines in team fortress 2 fun, i just want to play the game not circlejerk in a game of friendly hoovies. cant imagine the people who like that stuff

Because people have been doing it for nearly 17 years

Yeah that's part of why I stopped playing TF2. Nobody wanted to have a fun simple competitive match, everyone wanted to do their gimmicky shit.

>tfw they get angry at you for actually trying to play the game.
>They try to votekick you.
>It fucking passes.

If you don't want to play the game then go to some orange community server or some shit.

There's also the case of people kicking you when you try to learn other maps because you're not playing to their expectations.

>playing competitive CSGO
>want to learn how to play Train, Mirage, Overpass, and Nuke
>only way to learn the maps is to play them in competitive because casual/tdm is just a clusterfuck that doesn't teach you how to hold angles and shit
>can't because if I get anywhere near being bottomfragger it's just nothing but the premades on my team yelling KICK THIS SCRUB FUCKING KICK HIM WE'RE BETTER OFF WITH A BOT FUCKING KIIIIIIIIIICK HIIIIIIIIIIIIM
>proceed to only queue for Dust 2 because everybody knows it and it's harder to get kicked from Dust 2 matches

GO is technically better, but Source looks better in this picture.

here u have Sup Forums, folks: the board where threads about why The Shoryuken Motion should be outlawed get over 500 replies of applause on the regular

i hate that competitive communities have cancer that kicks because skill

Fighting games turn them into drooling retards for some reason. I learned those inputs at 6 years of age. Most of Sup Forums is dumber than I was when I was 6.

terrible movement/gunplay

it's because Sup Forums is only "good" at singleplayer games or rather Sup Forums only perceives themselves to be good at games because the game's they're "good" at are ones in which you don't compete against anyone. they're not good at the games where you compete against people which is why those games are Shit. lol

>in real life, everyone is partially colorblind
ok

I still think singleplayer can be challenging. I'm not super awful at fighting games but I still struggle in the harder difficulties of character action games. I do agree though that a lot of complaints probably stem from egos being checked.

When the internet came around everyone who considered himself the god of "x" had a rude awakening.

Turns out you can't turtle for 60 minutes against a human in rts. You can't win a fighting game with no strategy and an inability to do inputs, etc etc.

Far more often this happens to me.
>Couple of people have mics
>A lot of the time it's kids but whatever
>Do alright because we call and talk
>Lose a couple of rounds, everyone stops talking
>Lose match
The few time we keep talking after a couple of loses we wipe the floor, i had a team come back from a huge margin loss before because of it. No one understand decent and efficient communication = win most of the time.

>Turns out you can't turtle for 60 minutes against a human in rts.
but it's fun
AOE2 black forest turtle wars best days of MY LIFE

I mean go for it if you want. But don't throw a temper tantrum if someone just kills you 2 minutes in.

My problem isn't people playing suboptimally, it's them running into superior play and throwing a tantrum instead of either adapting or finding like minded players.

When I played with my uni team it was then I truly saw how great cs could be, we had proper strats and callouts every second, people always had your back and had utility to help you secure sites.
Then I go back to play with my regular 2-3 friends and its just "go a/go b" every round with a couple of other basic strats (sometimes even a few nades).
Just look at a couple of pro games and you can see the difference. Having a proper team makes the game so much more fun

You will never breach my patented triple wall fortress.

>first time playing CSGO Competetive
>destroy the other team
>giving out instructions and match strategies
>other team thinks I'm smurfing
>we win
>'nice callouts, green'
>'green a god'
>get a little crown on my CSGO profile

What's even worse are the backseat pros that try and tell you what to do when you're top of the team and they're at the bottom.

>kill 2 people at Long A on Dust 2
>tell 2 teammates to push with me with one watching doors to make sure we don't get fucked in the ass
>while I'm pushing all 3 are still sitting in pit with a thumb up their ass
>they proceed to get killed by the one enemy that comes through doors
>I'm already at A and have it cleared
>can't plant though because dipshit in pit had bomb
>die and lose the round because of their incompetence
>at the start of next round "DUDE WHAT THE FUCK WHY WERE YOU PUSHING A SITE? WE SHOULD HAVE ROTATED TO B INSTEAD. YOU'RE FUCKING TRASH."
>next round every says to rush B
>I grab a few flashes and an SMG
>throw the flashes onto B and rush in and kill 1 guy and do 76 damage to the other
>"DUDE WHAT THE FUCK WHAT ARE YOU DOING? WHY DID YOU RUSH INTO B?"
>20 seconds later they're still in tuns and end up getting slaughtered

>first time playing CSGO Competetive
Bullshit

I played CSS before

Beacause you touch yourself at night.

DUDE GREY LMAO

I like how CS:GO looks more, but they should up the green and blue.

The game is terrible at literally all levels.

I'm LE right now and I can't tell the difference between my LE matchmaking teams and my gold nova 4 matchmaking teams.

>mfw OP just took the screenshot from a mod that replaces the CSS office textures with CSGO's

gamebanana.com/textures/3411

>Tfw sometimes can't tell the difference between grey and a very light lavender or sky blue from grey clouds

Oh shit OP got rekt

If they ever totally remove all cheating from CSGO it will die within months, only a select hardcore few will continue playing.
>I can finally play now, no cheats!
>Shit, this is actually showing how bad I am at the game now muh scapegoats have gone
>Can't reach the level I should be
>Fuck this game, only autists play it

>Play on comp every so often when I'm Skyping with the mates
>I'm not too hot at the game but I'm not terrible so I tend to be in the middle of the scoreboard
>Whenever I'm the last guy left and I die, every other high-level chode on my team accuses me of not helping enough in a really passive-aggressive way and then start a votekick
>Even people who are scoring lower than me give me shit

For fuck's sake, if it wasn't for my mates then I would get kicked all the time. Even when I'm trying, all these compfags gang up on me over the most inane bullshit.

git gud scrub and stop bein mad becuz ur bad :^)

Shit like that tends to happen with randoms, they are mostly doing it because they don't want to look bad, they are scared of other people thinking that they are bad at the game and they are afraid of losing ranks because it's their way how good they are at the game, I honestly just mute them instantly since I'd rather die a few times because I'm missing calls rather than putting up with their bullshit.

ITT: Salty shit players that can't aim or use part of their brain for more than 10 seconds at a time so instead they blame cheats.

It's what keeps the game alive, if the low skill meat leaves, it will cease to be Valves secondary cash cow.
They'll then drop the skill ceiling to CoD levels to get more players in, or just let it go FTP.
Shitty salty shitheels are a necessary evil. They also tend to buy the most expensive cosmetics and open the most cases.
