Cause to rollback 10.7 you need Zelda and a godammed power save device and plus it's not really that simple you need a good couple of hours to get that shit working

there's homebrew tools like gbatemp.net/threads/release-jks-savemanager-homebrew-cia-save-manager.413143/ that lets you import and extract saves.

It's pretty dummy proof by now it was only bricking shit at the time of the downgrade release. I wouldn't know anything about the 2DS but the difficulty depends on what you want to do and what 3DS system since they all use different methods.

OoT3D is cheap now, and if you have access to someone who already has a hacked 3DS, you can forgo the PowerSaves dongle.

It does take an investment of time though, I won't deny that. Still, I'd say it's worth it.

I honestly don't know user. If you patch the TWL file on your 3ds *theoretically* any flashcard should work

The flashcard works (TWL is patched), but it's on an older firmware that has issues (softlocks on KSSU, random crashes on SM64DS, etc)
I know that there's an nds file you run from the flashcart that can update it for DSi systems, but idk if it works for 3DS

DS Lite + 2 Flash Carts is all you need.

From 10.5 - 10.7 you need a copy of OoT and a powersaves or an already hacked 3ds. If below 10.5 it's literally free.

It has more games than the fucking 3DS that's for sure. I don't even understand, I bought a 3DS at launch and had nothing to play until fucking Kid Icarus came out. I then bought the Persona Q 3DSXL despite barely playing the game, and then a few months later bought the MonHun N3DSXL. I almost bought the MHX N3DSXL before realizing there's no fucking games to play on this piece of shit besides the new monster hunter.

Meanwhile there's like a dozen Vita games I'd love to play.
