It's okay. The biggest complaints you'll hear about it are that it takes way too long to open up gameplay and storywise and that's it's really really linear for far too long.

You only get stats from completing quests so if you do a true ending run on your first run like I did the last area becomes hell unless you abuse the combat system.

I unfortunately never got some pretty mandatory spells so I just gave up at the very ending of the game.

I also don't think I'm able to reset time once I got as far as I did in the true end so i can't even redo to get more stats.

You have to intentiionally screw up, the game lets you stop time for a few seconds at the low cost of a resource you can just refill by getting into fights that don't pass time. The timer's also really lenient anyway.
