Fatal Frame. I was genuinely scared.

Immersion is a illusion and a buzzword. Learn english if you want to tell me why you like a game.

>this fucking dialogue
I really didn't care when i played it but this is fucking bad.

get a brane, moran

Metroid, Dark Souls, Demon's Souls, maybe Castlevania though less so because there is narration and character dialogue.

People in the 00s didn't ascribe to tryhard witty twitter speak and actually used words.

I was happy I got to fucker her, bad thing is was just a black screen

I have no mouth and i must scream. It may have just been because I was way too high, but its a visual novel and lets just say it's a book you cant put down. Be sure to watch the intro

Fallout 2 and New Vegas

Harley Quinn has nice tits

What's wrong with it?

Fallout 1
Fallout 2
Fallout: New Vegas

Thea - The Awakening is pretty great for immersion even though it's a strategy game.

I got that immersion vibe from Persona 3 just because there was so much shit to do like part-time jobs and clubs n shit. Also, FF8 to a lesser extent.

>Metroid
Uhh, which one?

Stalker

Iji is ugly as fucking sin but the music and environments made it really easy to get lost in once you get past the developer graphics.

Fallout 2
Planescape
Ultima Serpent Isle (nostalgia as fuck, but dear gods the feel)
King's Field
Dark Souls 2
Bastion

I might be confusing immersive with engaging though.

The first one with the Lua mod that gives you a map, inventory screen, etc., play Metroid II until you can't take it anymore, then Super, Fusion, Zero Mission, and finally AM2R. Then play Prime 1, 2, 3, and Hunters. Feel free to drop any of them you can't get into and move onto the next, but do try to keep an open mind and maybe give any of them that you DO drop a second chance except for Metroid II since you can just play AM2R for that. They're all pretty good at sucking you in, with Prime 3 and maybe Fusion being the weakest. Also Cave Story. Even better if you have a PSP since you can play it on there. Hotel Dusk for DS, Etrian Odyssey, Legacy of Goku I and II on GBA, Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Blue Rescue Team on DS, and Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles on GameCube (just give it a chance. It's pretty magical and serene).

VTMB
S.T.A.L.K.E.R.
Deus Ex
Thief
The Myst games
Gothic (I know it's not the best but I found the third one very immersive, walking in a forest at sunset in first person view with a visible body and a visible walking staff + dat OST, that was awesome back when I played it)

>Immersion is a illusion and a buzzword

>Gothic 3

Hahahaa I literally came here to post that. Playing it right now for the first time, god damn I'm so happy.
