That was actually pretty cool, certainly a lot better than the robot fights in Ape Escape 3. Maybe I should give 2 another crack but it becomes such a slog from the midpoint on.

i enjoyed Ape Escape 2 more.
maybe it was because i was a little burnt out in AE3 but the main things are:
Ape Escape 2 has way better /more consistent framerate
Ape Escape 3 reuses the terrible Formula 1 car racing tracks with monkeys on them.

This is true, that little watch-doohickey makes 3 lag like a bitch sometimes, and some of the transformations just tank the game anyway.

The F1 cars were awful I will admit (and the robot sections aren't so hot), but it was more enjoyable than having like 20 gadgets and only using most of them twice like in 2.
