Playstation was better

PS1 games looked like shit and had uncomfortable controllers

Also loading times were for fags

>uncomfortable controllers
what about your shitty octopus controller?

>looked like shit
Subjective
>uncomfortable controllers
N64fags are the last people to have any worthwhile opinions on controllers

>this bait

I loved both consoles(Playstation more) but Jesus, user. You have to be a moron to think the controllers were "uncomfortable."

My N64 is broken.

>be me at my cousin's 14th birthday
>last slice of chocolate cake
>my cousin, two friends and me decide to compete for the last slice
>we play a 15-stock smash bros match
>was so fun we forgot completely about the cake overnight

Those were the times when multiplayer was fun.

I remember as a kid how happy I was to finally get a N64. It was the black one. And then when the colored ones came out, I felt like I missed out

I usually don't care for translucent consoles/handhelds/controllers but that one looks sweet.

>what about your shitty octopus controller?

I understand that the "hue hue but people dont have 3 hands xD" meme is older than most people that post on Sup Forums, but only an idiot actually thinks its real.

The 64 controllers are very comfortable, and you never actually need the L or Z button at the same time, or the Dpad/Joystick. You just hold whichever handle suits you best or works for the game you're playing.

The PS1 controller however is just a shitty SNES controller with awkward handles jutting out so that they didn't get sued for making the exact same controller with two extra buttons

>tfw skipped n64
>tfw had to play n64 at a friend's house
>tfw got my own pc 2-3 years later
>tfw emulated the n64 at glorious 800x600 instead

>>looked like shit
>Subjective

>It's another sonygger shitposts Nintendo thread episode
Will you cucks fuck off already?

>the shitty analog stick
what were they thinking?

i have a sealed ocarina of time na game

>N64 controller stick breaks down
Alright no problem we can solve this

>buy a used N64 controller in "good condition" on ebay
>stick is also shit
Hmm this is getting nowhere, all controllers are probably worn out by now

>visit local game shop buy a third party replacement
>stick is so stiff its like its welded to the damn thing and the A and B buttons stick on their way up
Staying away from that brand in the future...

>order a replacement stick
>install it
>always leans to one side and is impossible to center
Well fuck

>order a replacement stick (gamecube style
>install it
>deadzone so bit it might as well be a D-pad

:^))))))))

well they remade the gamecube controllers for smash wii u :)

Happy birthday, N64!

congratulate it 20th anniversary.

It's not getting any better while sealed.
Unless you intend to sell them forward for big monies later down the line, having sealed games is illogical.

makes me wonder if theres a japanese conkers bad fur day cart

id waste money on such a gimmick item

i only bought cause it was cheap af, its my only sealed one so

N64 controllers were goofy looking but they were still comfortable to hold

Yeah, anyone saying they were bad or ruined the N64 are morons who never owned one and whose minds implode at the sight of anything even slightly different than what they're used to.

Post favorite games for the underage fags

Paper Mario
Super Smash Bros.
Banjo Kazooie
Banjo Tooie
Kirby 64: Crystal Shards
Diddy Kong Racing
Super Mario 64
OoT
Majora's Mask
Donkey Kong 64
Star Fox 64
Blast Corps
Yoshi's Story

...

>parents bought me a N64
>with Wave Race 64, because there was no "default" game in the package
And I'm glad they did. WR64 is a great game and it broadened my horizons more than Mario would have.

MAX POWER

I never got this meme myself.

While obviusly the Dual Shock is superior the N64 stomped the shit out of the original Playstation controller, and I can still use it just fine. Was playing F-Zero X just this morning in fact.
