Actually just cleaned the insides for the first time yesterday. Didnt know PCs got THAT dusty, holy fuck.

No. It's in pieces in my garage. I'll probably never put it back together though. By now the hardware is probably over 8 years old. I keep telling myself I'll salvage the hard drives and the heat sink, but I really just want the porn off the hard drives and heat sinks aren't THAT expensive. This is a nice one though.

my cpu consistently gets to >90c, but i haven't crashed or anything yet. i guess i need to save up some neetbux and buy a new cooler.

Running a laptop and it gets pretty hot. I have to set my AC fan to high and the temperature to 67 to keep things cool enough.

Living in a brick house really does make a huge difference. I mean it'll still get super fucking not and I'll have to turn th3 AC on but it takes longer than other houses so that's cool. My computer runs fine though even when my GPU is at 99% usage it still doesn't get super hot or anything even when it's 70 or 78 in here.

My PC has always been fine despite me not caring a tiny bit about it. Though I had to replace my GPU about half a year ago since it started shitting itself and I couldn't play vidya.

It's winter here in Australia. Even then my shitty laptop sits on top of two plastic containers so that it can get the air flow it needs.

Mine is properly cooled, so it's fine. Doesn't really make any serious noise either. Like 3kg of heat sinks in there for a single gfx card system.

Air conditioning is pretty rare in the temperate north aka the developed, habitable part of the world. If you don't live there, who cares? Cavemen living in the desert don't even have computers.

Good air flow and dust cleaner every 3 weeks makes sure it breathes easily. If you needed that much might as well bought some uranium rods to power it too.

some people overclock, even on shitty stock coolers, some people have poor airflow in their case, some people don't have AC, some people never clean their PCs, some people use the same computer for four or more years without re-applying thermal paste.

nothing changes in my pc during summer, except the idle temps raise a few degrees. Load temps have been 68-73°C for months (GPU wise)
