Makes sense as a developer/publisher standpoint. Put zero effort into art, design, gameplay, or even rent out expensive engines and push graphical standards. Just make some sprite/PS2 tier game on an outdated engine, slather on some fanservice, and enjoy increased profit margins from the predictable weebfags.
Then once they've bought the game, shit out merchandise. Body pillows, figurines, etc and again weebs will flock to gobble up whatever excrement they push out.

A few years ago CH was complete trash and I would agree with every word OP said, to a degree.
Now they make some pretty decent games, some even being great.
If you can't see that, the games just aren't for you. But they're nowhere near as bad as they once were.
I never finished Fairy Fencer F, I got to the maybe halfway point where you play it over again but stopped and ended up losing my save. It was surprisingly fun, liked the story.
