What exactly constitutes a good game to Sup Forums?
What exactly constitutes a good game to Sup Forums?
It has to be either old and/or indie, and not have a large fanbase. Sup Forums are vidya hipsters.
If I don't like it, it's shit.
good gameplay
a story that isn't too serious
at least decent graphics
depth
fun
Solid controls and graphics/art styles that are easy on the eyes.
Oh, and its **not** a "Walking Simulator" that you can beat in a minute.
the only thing that matters is its fun
At least 10 years old
Story/lore
Character design/voices
Music
Simple menu layout
Challenging but not tediously annoying
Everything available upon purchase, no dlc bullshit
Not broken upon release
decent gameplay
Fun
Some semblance of challenge
Reasonable length
decent audio

So Gang Beasts is a good game?
cinematic experience remasters where you just turn your brain off
Difficulty. Anyone who disagrees is just a fucking casual.
I want to face fuck that girl until she gags.
>stability
>no obvious glitches
>cool shit to look at
>less overused cruxes like procedural generation or RNG
>no censorship
>dinosaurs
First post best post yet again.
It has to be a game I like, all other opinions are invalid
>Good gameplay
>Has some depth to it
>Easy to learn hard to master
>Movements and animations are fluid
>No bugs or clashes
>Clean and easy to use UI
Stuff like that. Skyrim comes to mind as a perfect example of a shit game.
runs at >=60fps
designed and programmed by competent developers.
fun
I'm not gettting sex therefore zero games are good
duh
Has to be fun
>Skyrim comes to mind as a perfect example
what
>of a shit game
and everything was ok
She really is quite prettyy, although not a fan of shorter hair on girls.
>solid gameplay that doesn't get stale
>intriguing story with replay value
>strong cast if story-based game
>well polished with few, if any, bugs
>polish (stable framerate, no interfering glitches)
>engaging gameplay (gameplay is frequent and the main driver of the story)
>fun gameplay
These are the essential factors.
Abstract visuals and audio are incredibly underused, though, and I think they're great.
good game needs to be old, that's the only real requirement
everything else is a subject to console/pcwar faggotry or bashing indie sjws
>polish
Like The Witcher?
I dont know
But I only like good games, I can tell you that. And the list is very short
wouldn't it be better to fuck her until you ejaculate
surely that'd be a better end condition to aim for. i mean, if she starts gagging 2 seconds in, it's hardly going to be satisfying, is it.
Console wars have been raging for decades.
No you dingus, don't you know? Making cool games requires you to have an epic, immersive story written entirely by programmers and push the envelope of excessive numbers of polygons and postrendering effects shoved into every frame at the expense of only rendering 10 every second on the specific architecture it was designed for.

I'll rephrase: I want to face fuck that girl WHILE she gags. Until she ejaculates.
doesn't matter here, we're talking about Sup Forums as it is right now
the games shat over now will become the "good old classics" in 10-15 years
It also needs to either be abstract, or difficult, yet also not difficult enough to hurt their egos.
Never cared much for story. I like a game that can stand on its gameplay alone. The player's move set should have enough depth that lets you develop your skill over time, like learning a language or playing a musical instrument. Responsive controls are a must. The game should have a clear goal but give you many options as to how you accomplish it. It should be open-ended and let you play around with the mechanics to develop your own solution, rather than choosing a predetermined path. The player should feel like their decisions matter.
