When it comes to ZDoom modding, I don't think anything will top the drama around SgtMark that happened a few years ago.
Bump, this is actually an interesting idea for a thread OP
For completion's sake, I'll post his rebuttal via PM as well as eric's response
I'm not sure if there's any more following this up
Good stuff, thanks.
I suppose I should give more background to my op pic, Gsanders is a very strange middle aged divorced man who constantly makes posts very similar to that one and has/is working on several big mods for mount and blade, he also roleplays as a skaven and has written some fucking hilarious edgy fiction, Ill see if I can scrounge up the summary.
It really is given how a ton of them seem to cause drama, but I can't remember too much off the top of my head. Though not that amusing, I believe we're all still familiar with the bullshit that happened with paid Skyrim mods some time ago?
don't spread gsanders autism outside of /mbg/, the uninitiated here won't understand.
I vaguely remember stuff about a sky-ui dev but I wasnt around for any specifics.
>Good stuff, thanks.
No worries.
Recently, the guy who ran Best-Ever, which provided a place to host .wad/pk3 files and some servers, killed it off recently due to drama around the Zandronum forums.
Do you have any that show pure autism and/or really weird mods?
Nothing beats this
Jesus Christ. I've always heard the creator of Brutal Doom was an asshole, but I never knew he was THIS bad.
Something relatively minor I didn't know I saved.
He did post on /vr/ for a time (probably because it was the one other place he wasn't banned at) and from what I saw he wasn't that bad, actually posted some OC too. Not sure if anything happened though, I don't see him around.
Bonus
he writes like a teenager, 13-15yo
the autistic never grow up
...
The image is talking of ellionora right?
How often does he blow up like this?
more please
I forgot, I don't frequent /tesg/ often
>Tfw it's been seven years since you used to frequent the Taleworlds forums
I wonder if anyone I knew still posts there. I wonder if that crazy woman that I guess was an SJW but I didn't know the term at the time still posts there.
ill see what I can find
...
cant make this up
that one guy that makes the unofficial patches for skyrim is a nutjob
Oh shit that first line gave me cancer.
Arthmoor?
yea that one, i think there was some other skyrim autist but i forgot his name
Can somebody explain what was happening with those communities when Steam wanted to monetize modding for games? What was going on? Did they turn on one another and started ratting each other out?
Chesko of Frostfall fame made Art of the Catch and FNIS dev Fore wasn't happy that the paid mod required his own tools to work.
isoku had paid versions of his mods, Wet & Cold notably had even less features than it did when it was a free mod.
Many were annoyed at some known modders selling themselves out. When you put money in as a factor things get complicated to say the least.
What was that magic mod that spammed messages of BUY THE PAID VERSION TO GET RID OF THESE MESAGES every 2 seconds?
No idea, but I do know that there was a paid version of Skyrim's iteration of Midas Magic or something.
Bump
Surely we got more drama
Holy fucking shit, I can't even call that edgy. It was a pure mental breakdown.
Christ, I never realized just how much of a fucking douche this guy was.

>juice: 44
what
I don't know what it is in this context, but in Liberal Crime Squad Juice is experience, or:
"Juice is the Liberal Crime Squad's term for chutzpah, cojones, guts, ballsiness, and any other large number of unquantifiable concepts which mean the same thing: a person's ability to take risks in the Holy name of Liberalism (assuming Holiness wasn't right-wing nonsense), and the person's dedication to unthinking action (the Liberal way!). In LCS, any of a number of activities can increase your squad members' juice, but the largest increases of juice come from infiltration. Anyone in a squad receives an equal amount of juice whenever they perform an activity with that squad."

>guy reports a bug in the mod
>alright i'll look into it, now let me go on a tangent about my personal life
He sounds like a very lonely person.
