We've known for months and had the tf2 players who were in closed beta telling us how the game is mechanically simplistic but difficulty stems from how well you swap characters to deal with a situation and how well you work with your team mates.

It actually gives tf2 vets dome problems. We're so used to being able to go in and frag anybody 1v1, but you just cant do that in Overwatch. In that sense, Overwatch is a better team game as it forces and demands teamwork shere other classbased shooters like tf2 allowed you to be a lonewolf roamer

I'm a pretty decent Widowmaker and I sometimes get some really satisfying flicks but I just can't do it as consistent as the pros.

Widow is so ridiculously overpowered.
Her skill ceiling is through the roof compared to everyone else, literally not a single character can beat her if she's good enough.
With the exception of a McCree sneaking up on her and flashbanging of course, but if the Widow's good enough she won't let that happen.

She used to be. She's better now, her ultimate is still bullshit though.

Winston is her best counter. D.va and Genji are decent as well as Soldier 76. Or a better sniper for that matter.

I would honestly find class based shooters much funner if there were teams.
I'm tired of getting screwed over by having 2 snipers and 2 spies in TF2, one or two classes that actually have some power, no medic, and no engineer.
I don't find engineer that fun, but it's often the only way to win or at least not lose in two minutes, because a competent shotgun+jag engie is a danger no one expects.
Being able to shotgun tougher classes into retreat while your sentry holds another area is pretty sweet, but sometimes I just want to blow people up as no-skill class like soldier without having to worry about the intelligence.

She lost I think 25? base damage but her headshot multiplier was increased from 2x to 2.5x. Shes' still the same.
Yeah she can't scope back after unscoping as fast anymore but I find that a bit inconvienient at worst.

She does 120 body shot damage instead of 150 now. The scope back thing is pretty major desu, it allowed people to shoot fully charged shots more frequently, be more mobile while shooting, gave more situational awareness and better aiming between far targets.

You can rush her down with Winstons Lucios and Reinhardt usually.

For starters theres tons of things to remember how much damage a missed rocket or bomb does, how to shoot as a soldier to have a good 80% accuracy.

How to use hanzo to shoot behind walls widows.

How to use Zenyata or Zarya they take the most experience as at first sight look utterly useless.

But yes as with every FPS. If there no one hit kill skills that can kill you from a distance if they're only semi aimed there skill involved.

Generally when anyone is in the open, moving towards the enemy team, just throw your shield on them. The shield for allies is only on an 8 second cooldown, so feel free to waste it now and then, and eventually you'll learn when and when not to use it simply by trial an error.
